Still excited but now cautiously optimistic

I have been wanting a Genesis SUV for a few years now but never could bite the bullet on the price tag. Decided to a few months ago and got the top line for $82k. A few cosmetic issues that was missed by the dealership before I came to take ownership but was made whole. Then a week ago it had to be towed to the dealer for a cylinder 4 misfire. Again, was fixed on a few days but now I'm worried what else may go wrong. I want to be excited because it's awesome vehicle and it's what I've always wanted. Service department has been great in addressing my needs and worries I will say!

Great vehicle

I lease & update every 3 years usually with a new make or model. Genesis is my favorite. The smooth drive, comfort and performance. Comparable gas milage for the size of car and engine.

elegant styling with attention to detail

We had a bad experience with our 2024 GV80 Prestige, but this 2025 meets all original expectations and more. Overall a very well thought out design with emphais on what's important to us vs the minimalist German and Japanese competitors.

2025 GV80 3.5T Advanced AWD (Makalu Gray Paint/Obsidian Black leather)

It is a luxury vehicle that misses the mark due to the poor finish of the exterior paint. The exterior of the vehicle is peppered with stains left by bird poop, wet leaves, etc. after less than 30 days with the vehicle. I have leased an Audi, BMW, Lexus, etc. and have never encountered such a poor paint protection in a premium luxury vehicle. It's a major disappointment and unacceptable at this price point.

This vehicle is a masterpiece.

The speed and handling are better than any luxury vehicle I have owned and the technological features are awesome. The interior is luxurious and well crafted. Electronics are easy to operate and set-up.

love it so much!

I've owned many luxury cars in my life. This care has everything with such a great value. My new fave car. I have gv80 in blue with white interior. My only complaint I have is that it has a small gas tank and I have to refurl often.

Not happy with how it drives.

Although the vehicle is a beautiful luxury car, it does not drive well. I would not recommend this car and I wish I did not purchase it. Something is obviously wrong with it.

Porsche Cayene or Genesis

We were looking for another vehicle and looked at BMW's, Porsche, Audi and Genesis. It really came down to Genesis and Porsche. So the deciding factors were as follows. Porsche ride was great, Genesis not bad in comparison, very close. Cost: Porsche discounted and still 20K more. Warranty: Standard warranty with Porsche while Genesis 10 year/100k mile. Porsche also nickel and dimed you for everything while the Genesis actually had more features than the $165k Porsche we saw. No brainer decision.
