Incredible vehicle -

Having had many high end vehicles over the past few years I was skeptical - and I was pleasantly surprised. The ride, the amenities, the comfort is as good and in some cases better than my previous vehicles. I am delighted with my GV70 - I wish I had explored this option earlier.

Car rides very smoothly

I am very happy with my new car with the exception of the sleek black rims. I have been driving for a long time and have had many cars over the years. I have never scratched or scuffed a rim. I have hit curbs with the tires, but again never scratched a rim. What is wrong with the engineering of the these rims that they hit the curb before the tires does?! Other than that, I appreciate the wonderful technology and the overall comfort and feeling of luxury.

Everything from the purchase to now has been outstanding. Genesis does a great job of staying on contact with the owners. The service is top notch and the information after the purchase has been beyond what I would have expected.

Genesis asked for this review

The GV80 Prestige 350T is a comfortable, full-featured, quick, midsize SUV. The head-turning styling and features place it into comparison with other luxury SUVs - pulling me away from Lexus, who is not keeping up with the field. It is too new to evaluate reliability. The closest dealer is 100 miles away even though Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes are here.. Genesis will come collect the car, service it, and return it. But there is no way that is a luxury experience. The heavy use of plastic body parts prompts concern about longevity. Also, several of the UI interface features are annoying enough, on a daily basis, to spoil the experience. (The fingerprint reader should start the car, or the start button should read the print. Why two steps? And why the long delay to start android auto or carplay?)

My favorite car

I typically drove new cars for less than 5 years. Due to an accident, safety was my number one concern. But I have really enjoyed a lot more about this car than just the safety. The design, the ride is beyond expectations.

I test drove a number of mid tier luxury suvs. While unfamiliar with the Genesis brand, it was easily yhe best car I test drove.
