Beautiful Car

I love the car. The back seat doesn’t have a lot of leg room and people say it’s hot back there. Apparently there are no vents. Would have loved run flat tires.

A true road warrior

It may be too early, after only a month and 1,500 miles to give an accurate in-depth review. However, I'm greatly impressed with the overall performance of this GV80 and it looks great! Traveling extensively on two-lane highways, I feel very confident passing slower moving and large semi-trailers trucks! The exceptional ground clearance means I no longer worry about dragging up on parking curbs/blocks like many other performance vehicles. Plenty of horsepower with the twin turbo V-6. The ride, quietness and handling is welcomed, far greater than my previous Cady and very reasonably priced compared to other luxury brands. (I wish they kept the spare tire for a PEACE of mind! The emergency tire repair kit does not give me that!).

GV80

Overall we love it. However, we wish that the infotainment center was not the same as my nephews Hyandai Sante Fe. Considering we spent $35k more for the "high end" Genesis brand. Also, the lane assist for changing lanes is a scam. It does lane change on its own but it feels like you are on a race track making an aggressive pass. I've spoken to the service department about this and they say there is no adjustment for it. Which I find hard to believe that anyone would even use it which means I paid for a feature that is useless. Seems like a software adjustment or calibration is in order unless I want to get pulled over for aggressive lane changing. Also, I driven my nephews Sante Fe and it is far better in its lane change. Also, when you get in with different profiles the seat automatically comes back to the previous profile until you hit change profile. Which means I get slammed into the steering wheel every time because I'm 6' and my wife is 5'3".

We love our new Genesis GV80 and are so happy with our choice. We looked at many other vehicles including Mercedes and BMW and they were not as nice. We enjoyed working with our sales person and the Kirkland dealership, he was fantastic!

Options his car should have.

Cadillac has features than the GV80 should have. Door locks automatically when you leave, unlocks automatically, why not lock. Seat adjustments should take affect based upon key fob, why no open to unlock all doors with one touch of handle.

Hate the touch technology!

What happened to my saved settings? Lost everything! How unsafe to be driving and trying to figure things out when earlier today everything was fine. Sleeve touching the square toggle on steering wheel changes stations on Radio! Where are my saved stations?
