GV80 Coupe Prestige Black

Car looks and drives great. Significant deficiencies in the technology and conveniences compared to other vehicles I have owned (Lincoln Aviator, Acura MDX, Lexus), which are even a few years older. This is not noticeable until after you are actively and regularly using the vehicle.

2026 Genesis GV80 Prestige Black...Batman's ride

As a longtime BMW owner, I wasn’t actively shopping for something new—but I’m very glad we gave Genesis a chance. Online reviews were strong, but you never really know until you experience it yourself. We took the car out for an extended test drive and treated it like real-world ownership—highways, backroads, rough pavement, and smooth cruising. We spent time with everything: windows, sunroof, sound system, seat massage, controls, and every seating position. What stood out immediately was the attention to detail. The materials feel genuinely premium, the layout is intuitive, and everything is thoughtfully designed. Most importantly, it’s incredibly comfortable. The performance is absolutely there—on par with the competition—but it’s delivered in a smooth, refined way that emphasizes luxury over aggression. And quiet....this thing has an incredibly quiet cabin. After thoroughly putting it through its paces, we’re confident we made the right choice. Genesis has truly established itself as a premium brand.

well driven with some annoying features

Overall, I like the way the GV80 drives. I think the slight delay in settings and Carplay are dissapointing, and the eyes on the road feature, although understood for safety, is a bit annoying. I went to settings and disabled it but it still won't let me steer with one arm as it blocks the view of the sensor. The Bang and Olufsen stereo is amazing. The pickup is satisfactory and handling a bit loose, even in Sport mode. The seating is very comfortable and delivers a quiet ride. The cluster panel is a bit complicated and not always working, especially Carplay. I had a flat tire, and the sealing kit didn't work a bit- would have opted for a temporary real tire if given the option.

I love the car with one exception

I have no complaints, the car drives great, looks beautiful and i have gotten tons of compliments. But I bought a Matte finish and no one at the dealership told me when I was decided to lease the car that you cannot put it in a cash wash (they told me while I was picking it up). Living in the Northeast my car has been dirty all winter.

Loven it

Love the videos. The comfort, ride and style. I can fit all of my grandchildren in it. One of my grandchildren gets car sick. We took him this last weekend to the coast and because he can see outside and the ride was so smooth, he did not get car sick. My animals love it too.
