The best gas mileage 53 miles to the gallon everyone should have

This is my first new car, I'm 65 and I'm so impressed with this car! Hybrid are fantastic, but also the car drives nice I've driven it to Canada twice. Perfect ride. I have to say super impressed!

Passenger door

I did have a problem with the passenger door. It wouldnā€™t open from the inside. But they fixed it at no charge and I was very happy with the service..

GREAT SMALL CAR

GOT 52 MPG WHEN NEW AT 6000 MILES 56 MPG AT 12000 61. MPG i only fill the gas tank once a month . great in city driving . Not a flashy car great for city commute for college kids or for taking kids back and forth to school

Con: The hubcaps are ugly. The windows can't be used when the car is turned off. After the car is shut off while still in gear, to reset the warning, the car has to be restarted. The hood does not fit tightly. The rearview camera is often dirty. The front passenger heat/cooling is unreliable. The car brakes at odd times when traffic passes by. The car in Automatic sometimes fails to upshift and instead revs high. If I had another 3min I could probably think of more. It needs side view mirror defrosters which was often included in variants of the previous generations of Elantra and Civic.

The vehicle operates effectively w/consistent reliability and economy.

The vehicle operates consistently and reliably as designed. It has a very nice appearance and is designed with several luxury features such as electric parking brakes, Boise sound system and excellent technological systems that help to improve the safety of operating the vehicle. If I had sought similar features from another manufacturer, it could have cost me as much as twice the price of my Elantra Hybrid.

My second Elantra - bought it because I liked my first one so much.

I mostly use my Elantra for around town driving or for "short" long trips - 2-4 hours. It is comfortable, handles well, gets great milage (it's a hybrid). Like my first Elantra that I had for 12 years, I've had virtually no problems with it.

Great csr/Terrific gas mileage

Nice sized vehicle, great gas mileage (generally 50mpg), instrumentation logically and conveniently located. Rides well. Only negative for me is it doesnā€™t come with an automatic day/night rear view mirror.

Love everything about this car but 2 things

I love the technology, the app, lane assist, and the the fuel efficiency. I do not love the bar on the passenger side in the front and after 2.5 years of owning the vehicle, battery life has diminished by about 20% although the mechanics say it isn't that. I went from averaging 52-56 mpg to 42-48.

Pretty, comfortable and good gas mileage but........

It periodically feels like the car is pulling in one direction or the other and the dealership says that there is nothing wrong but it pulls. At 11,000 miles a tire blew and disintegrated and the dealership said that it was not covered by warranty so I had to buy new front tires. Looks like a rear tire has a problem but I am told that it is just cosmetic. I still haven't learned how to use all of it's bells and whistles.

It drives very well, especially in inclement weather.

I travel from WA to So Cal twice each year. Driving through the mountain passes is no problem with the Hybrid Elantra. I still haven't needed to put chains on the vehicle. It has enough power to pass vehicles and trucks going uphill, too.

Great Value

I appreciate the great gas mileage and safety features. I'm on my second Hyundai Elantra hybrid limited edition. The first one I bought new and had it for almost 3 years before it was totalled. I bought a used 2023 Hyundai Elantra hybrid limited edition to replace it.

A very economical and practical sedan

The 2023 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue is very gas efficient and offers lots of comfort and technology for under 30 k, I personally don't like the new 2024 front bumper design and I'm happy with my 2023 overall.

2023 Elantra

The car looks good. Great gas mileage but the seats leave my backside sour. I spend three plus hours in my car every day and after a long drive home you can I look forward to getting out of the car and sitting in a more comfortable seat. I am a little disappointed in the recall service scheduling, There is a recall on the car right now and service for recalls are only done until 1:00pm.

Very good car with very good mileage

Comfortable with a nice feature set in the limited. This is my first Hyundai Hybrid. The switching from gas to electric and back is not as smooth as the 3 Toyota's I have had but the Hyundai utilizes the electric better at highway speeds, where the Toyota's are a little better for city/stop and go driving. The gas engine is a little loud under excelleration and the gas engine transmission shifts a little awkward when it is cold. Living in Wisconsin I get about 52 mpg summer and 44 mpg winter which is as good or better than the other 3 hybrids I have owned. All around a good vehicle and I would not hesitate to buy another Hyundai.
