solid choice

Great on gas mileage. Excellent perks and bells and whistles. The ride can get noisy. There are some extras that would make it stronger... actual speed in the window like the Palasaide; garage door opener in the visor. This is a superior vehicle for my travel needs.

Nice car

Nice car. Great gas mileage. It would be great if there were more options & upgrades for the vehicle. Not crazy about the passenger seat design. Weak pick up & loud engine noise. Good basic commuter car.

It's a good car with the couple problems

It's a great car. The biggest issues with it are the downswept edges of the front bumper because they significantly drop front edge clearance when pulling onto inclined driveways and easily catch and rip off. Also, it seems like the automatic transmission is starting to have a similar problem to the Subaru foresters had with their CVT transmissions. When using normal mode accelerating from a stop on an incline it will occasionally fail to catch the next gear shift and instead overev the engine.

Poor gas mileage in winter 35 or less mpg.cv axles break pads replaced

The car needs shocks it has allot of body roll it has poor breaking and the exhaust is getting louder

Handles great, amazing mileage

The larger Elantra since 2022 drives excellent in all models. It’s also surprisingly roomy and a clean layout. I purchased the hybrid due to the amazing mileage. It still averages 54-55mpg around town after 2 1/2 years. It also accelerates faster than the non hybrid. I also thought the limited upgrade, with leather and air conditioned and heated seats, Sun roof, premium sound system, etc.. was well worth the extra cash

Zero problems with this car.

We had a great experience with this vehicle. We loved driving it, and especially liked the reversible cup holder in the center console. Wish the 2025 model had the same, but it doesn't. Also loved the heated seats and again, wished the 2025 model had them, but it doesn't. Everything else was terrific.

TOO MANY PROBLEMS

We purchased in Dec 2023. LOTS of problems.... and one factor made it worse.... the dealer was doing building construction and problems we had after the car was picked up could not be resolved for many months because the dealership did not have the capacity to handle the service. We have had so many problems they are too many to list here. Some are safety issues. For example, when driving the car all-of-a-sudden the front collision detection system stopped working. On other occasions the cruise control suddenly stopped working. Another safety issue was the headlights turning themselves off at night!!!!!! and the high beams suddenly not working!!!!! A current ongoing problem is the car speed dropping suddenly when driving up long hills on the highway. And there are more but too many to list. I am disgusted. Did I get a LEMON??????????

The car runs well and GAS mileage is very good

The car runs well. The gas mileage drops a lot in the winter unless you keep the tires filled. Rated a 4 due to safety feature sensor out in 2 years. $1500 to replace

Great features, many technical issues

I love the bells and whistles, the gas mileage, and the esthetic (except for the weird angled bar in the center console). My husband is not a fan of the seats as they are very uncomfortable for anyone with a wider back, and CarPlay is not always accessible. I have not loved the number of times I’ve felt like I’ve had to fight with the dealership to address warranty issues (in another one right now), having the return multiple times, being expected to pay $250 for finding “nothing wrong” when there was something clearly wrong. The glue on the edging of both headlights made the spotlight jagged, which was annoying when driving at night… particularly when parking, the compressor on the air conditioner failed, making weird noises and giving me a few minutes of cold air during the summer before stopping, and now, I’m dealing with a clicking sound whenever I step on the brakes or accelerator, regardless of how fast or slow I’m moving. My mom has the EXACT same model, purchased two weeks after mine, from the same dealership. The only problem she didn’t have was the glue from the headlights. Oh, and after getting them replaced, I still have some jagged outlining… it’s just not as bad.
