2023 Elantra Hybrid Blue - 65K Miles

Overall the car has been reliable with a few quirks. Pros Better than listed fuel mileage. Good stereo. Comfortable ride for the price of the car. Haven't changed the brakes yet. (very impressive) Safety features are reliable. Backup warnings, Lane Assist, Driving Assist, Blind Spot Alert, etc. Cons In the winter the doors don't always open on very cold days. The paint has shown to be very easily scratched and chipped. The motor was notably louder after 1500 miles. The motor has a slight shake when first starting for the day. CarPlay frequently doesn't connect. Overall, I would still recommend that others buy this vehicle.

Good with some very minor issues.

2023 Elantra Hybrid Limited - Love it but would love it more if it were a little bigger, had power folding mirrors and rear vents, power passenger seat. 2025 has the vents. My issues however are; slight rattle coming from headrest (right behind my ear), very annoying, driving me crazy at times. Dealer says "can't hear it", I don't think so. Surprisingly quick in "sport" mode. MPG's are fantastic, averaging 54mpg on highway and about 47-49 city driving.

Best Car

I loved my Elantra. It wasn’t my dream car, but I won’t ever forget it. I definitely will buy another. It’s reliable, the features make it so safe. I taught 2 teens to drive in it and bought it because of the safety features. I will be back.

Love the hybrid function that saves on gas consumption, but...

This Elantra Blue Hybrid offers savings due to running on battery. We see 40 - 60 mpg in town, and 40 - 45 mpg on the highway. Interior is a bit small if you are not petite. It has good headroom for taller people, but getting in and out is a bit difficult for larger people. One of the first things we saw was that you cannot lift up the wiper blades when you clean the windshield - you need to open the hood! The back seat is really tight for anyone. Installing a child's safety seat is difficult and I don't like the fact that the rear head rests are part of the seat and not able to be moved. We have had good power in town and on the highway, and it is fairly quite while driving. The features on the dashboard are a bit cumbersome, and the multi media center needs to be improved.
