High Average Car

I really like how the car is a hybrid especially how high the gas prices are nowadays. One feature that I really wish I had was the app that allows me to start my car but the only problem was that the person that sold me the car didn't tell me it didn't have that feature because it was a base model and he didn't tell me until after he sold it to me. I guess that's just part of the game when you're a car salesman. Keep little secretes until you sell the car. He also didn't tell me there was no spare tire.

Good for gas mileage. Nice interior

Lots of tech features and a very nice light gray interior. Routinely gets 54+ mpg. Ride is comfortable. Low horsepower isnt too noticeable, which was a worry of mine initially, as the battery helps a bunch with torque, and thats me saying this coming from a 2020 miata and older corvette. Unfortunately there's a few issues. Had the vehicle for about 2 months and put a few thousand miles on it. Has left me near stranded twice now and also unable to leave the house twice. Has an issue where on starting the car sometimes, get a brake warning on the cluster, and lose the backup camera, all sensors, power steering, speedometer (the entire cluster really, because it stays on the error screen and is unresponsive to input), and the infotainment. This has really soured my opinion on an otherwise nice car, and hyundai denied battery replacement under warranty according to the dealer. Will be going back in to have a secind opinion next week and unfortunately probably lemon lawed afterwards. Aside from this, when it is working normally, the handoff from battery to engine is rough, or maybe the transmission. Especially noticeable when slowing to a stop and then accelerating again. Car will shudder and transmission makes an awful crunching sound. I believe this is a well documented thing and 'normal'. Basically, if i bought it to sit in one place, its fantastic. As far as being an actual car, reliability wise it falls flat on its face, and the transmission is concerning.

The interior is too loud, along with the engine noise when driving. The window molding behind the passenger windows is fading, been one year.

Good commute car

My Hyundai Elentra is a good car for everyday commute. Mechanics feel smooth, fuel economic is excellent. Electronics are a little below my expectation: screen display would go dark in broad day light; the auto head light control does not respond well to the lighting condition, sometimes it turns on under bright sunlight and sometimes didn't turn on when it was already quite dark. A tire pressure warning light kept turning on for two weeks when I check my tire pressure repeatedly and was sure that there is no problem, and then the warning light went away on its own mysteriously.
