Very satisfied with the ELANTRA

Only problem that I had with my ELANTRA is it’s control in the snow very bad going up hill or just starting on incline

Not the safest vehicle

Purchased new in 2024. 3 months after purchase, someone rear-ended me at 50 miles per hour. Airbag did not deploy nor did the Bluelink system alert that the vehicle was involved in an accident. Showed it was still driving for months after the accident. Vehicle has safety concerns. Still dealing with injuries and upcoming surgery from vehicle accident.

I love the gas mileage, but since day one my display literally blacks

My display blacks out since day one. The dealer can’t find out the problem. My warning light come on for no reason all of them. My steering wheel vibrates when the air is in.

Sporty, affordable, reliable

I decided to go with the N-Line Elantra trim. It’s been a joy to own! I often find it to be quite sporty, with good acceleration and handling for its price point and has nothing short or reliable. Only real complaint I’ve had is that the paint is a little easier to flake off than I’d like, in the first year, rocks and chips are getting more and more noticeable. Interior build quality is solid and looks and feels premium. No creaks or weird noises on any panels after 30k plus miles. Ride quality has maintained solid and it’s a joy how well it handles at higher speeds. Overall really satisfied but kinda wish I went with the N for that little extra horsepower and active suspension!

Great car, poor wiring

Loved my elantra, but hyundai's use of plant based wiring caused us to get rid of both my elantra and my wife's kona after rabbits ate through the wiring, totalling the elantra

Good little get around town car

Solid vehicle best for local errands getting to work from work. Missing some customary features that would make long hauls more comfortable m. Alas, getting in and out of the vehicle can be hard for some.

My 2024 Elantra SEL

Everything with my Elantra SEL was going great until about 6 months in, when the AC stopped working. I took it to two different dealerships, and got the same result each time. (A temporary fix) Nothing was diagnosed. They simply did a “dye leak test” test and recharged the system, claiming no leaks were found. That happened twice and didn’t give me issues for about a year. Now, here I am, with the same issue. No AC when it’s hot, and the cabin gets foggy at night. Hyundai should engineer their cars to just work for a long time, before jamming wired apple carplay in the infotainment system.

Great vehicle

the vehicle is a great vehicle from either being your first car to being your daily commuter. there are many features on the vehicle that show that the vehicle was built for the people and their safety. over all its a great car there are only a few tweaks i would recommend for the vehicle. Main one would be the suspension mainly the front shocks just because they are a bit on the stiffer side which is nice when it comes to performance but not the best for rougher roads like the ones in Wisconsin. the next would be the ac compressor because imbalances the engine and causes a great deal of vibrations. everything else is pretty good in my retrospect.
