Ioniq 6 is unreliable and overpriced

This has been the worst purchase of my life. The car is unreliable and will sporadically not turn on, even with a full battery charge, requiring a jump- as an EV! I've taken it into Hyundai multiple times and they can't find the source of the problem. They also keep my car for weeks on end. It has been a nightmare. I'd get rid of the car but even with $25k down, I'm still paying $900/month and upside down on the loan. This car causes nothing but stress. Don't get it!!!

Our 2023 Ioniq 6 was an excellent choice for for our first EV. It has been incredibly reliable, even when we took it on a road trip from DFW to Houston and back.

Average car awful dealers

Car itself is fine except for the constant fear of ICCU issues that Hyundai have still not resolved. Dealing with the dealerships is a nightmare.

My first EV

Although the exterior is very sleek it was really the interior that sold me on getting this car! I'm a sucker for pretty displays and the two-tone (or monotone) LED lighting interior made me fall in love with it just from online displays. I remain equally in love having owned it for about two years now.

Best car for a retired person

This is an outstanding vehicle for a retired person who does not drive long distances or has a second vehicle for long distance travel. I have owned this vehicle for 12000 miles and I have solar panels on the roof of my house. I have spent no money on fuel and never waited at a charging station. The Ioniq 6 is fast, powerful, and luxurious.

The World Disappears

When driving my EV, it's like the world disappears and I'm on vacation. The ride is so enjoyable and I'm completely delighted. I love everything about my Ioniq 6. Comfort, speed, quick charging, great handling, smooth ride, beauty, performance...all of these are excellent.

Great car, easy to use, easy to drive, easy to love.

Wish I brought a limited. The Htex on the driver's side bolster peeled off but otherwise excellent vehicle. Wish the interior was as futuristic, cool and well designed as the exterior.

Recently car was driven from Virginia to Fl. Difficult finding charging station. Have home charger now but car will only charge to 252 & says it is 100%. Before I could charge it to 335 miles.

Definitely a EV that is worth Checking Out

I've been in rentals (gas & hybrids) and owned many vehicles, but this is the 1st EV, I've personally ever had. It is by far the roomiest within its class and more. Even most luxury vehicles like comparable or a steep higher don't have the same amount of room that the IONIQ 6 has. It's what I state as simple elegance. I feels very clean and safe. I love the regenerative braking system and wish that all vehicles had this feature for safety purposes. Ergonomically, I love it. The trunk is very roomy with the added value of the fold down (60/40) rear passenger seats. The sunroof is plenty enough and the leatherette seats and texture of the material is very modern and pleasant to the touch (even the parts that might be plastic synthetic). Last and not least the Dash Board and LED Touch Screen Display is 2nd to Non! It is wide and functional. A man's kinda screen.

Wonderful Car

I love the 2023 Ioniq 6. It drives great and is extremely easy to drive on long trips. The one draw back is when the car had a problem parts were and issue and it took almost 2 months to fix. Not the dealerships fault but a lack of supply for the part.
