Not amazing, customer service w/ corporate is AWFUL

I rarely leave negative reviews, but Hyundai has really burnt me with this vehicle. When I purchased the car, I put tire rim on it, when I had an issue that I needed the car towed I pretty much had to do all of the legwork to make sure that the towing company showed up. It took over six hours. Then when the car got to the dealership and needed two new tires, I had to do all the legwork of getting the warranty from the Hyundai, which I purchased it transferred over to have a copy of it for the Hyundai where I was having it serviced at. I’ve brought the vehicle in other times where I’ve had a nail in the tire, and every time they make me redo all this work. Even though that I have a copy of it, save in an email, they claim that they cannot open it and no longer have the email. Every time I have to resend that warranty in an email. My husband went on military orders, and they refused to do an SCRA turn in. Even though that we no longer needed two vehicles, and this vehicle was not serving us in any way. They argued with us. That order is only overseas qualified to turn in a vehicle. That is incorrect. We have done this previously with other dealerships and never had an issue within missions within the US. The vehicle is not as tested as it should be, as far as in the electronics portion of the dash. My calls never fully connect. The Apple Pay always glitches up. And really for a car that’s supposed to be super advanced, it’s disappointing. Thank goodness that we only leased this vehicle. It’s gonna be going back very soon.

When it works, it's great!

Because the vehicle has an unresolved issue with the AC/heating, I can't recommend the Ioniq 6. I love the way it handles on the road, but there have been several times when the heating doesn't work, so the windows fog up and it becomes terribly dangerous to drive. The flip side is when it's uncomfortably warm and the AC doesn't work.

Great vehicle

I loved almost everything about this car. The exterior and interior looks were great, interior usability was great, the infotainment was intuitive and fast, and the car was fun to drive. My only pain point was a very frustrating bug where the accessory battery would not charge when the main vehicle battery was below a certain threshold. That stranded me at home twice. That was the only paint point I had with that car. Had my family not had the need for a larger vehicle, I absolutely would have leased a new model.

Love the safety features and style

If it's made in South Korea, it's an awesome product. And that holds true for the Ioniq 6. The design style is superior, turning heads wherever I went. There are many safety features that are easy to learn and apply. I wish the seat comfort, ride comfort, and wind noise were better which were minimally acceptable. Hyundai needs to conquer "range anxiety" for it to be a long distance car.

12 volt battery died early. NACS connector promised, NO DELIVERY!!

Very nice car, handles well, 12 volt battery died at 17000 miles, Company promised a NACS adapter but never deviled after two calls to them. Shame on you.

Ionic 6 is great car to drive but lacking in technology.

The car is comfortable to drive but it is lacking when comes to technology. Build quality of the car is good and it feels solid. The mobile application does not work well (I am told it is built by a third party) and the navigation and charging is just bad and thus my average rating. Maps in the navigation system are outdated even though I have the most recent download. The carplay is great but you have to connect your phone with wire to USB-A port which is inconvenient. I do like that the Ionic 6 has a balance of touch screen and physical buttons which make it easy to operate.

Perfect for retired

I am a retired female with grandkids. Two of my four grandkids lived 35 miles away and I see them often. Ball games, dance lessons, golf, matches, etc. require a lot of short driving distances. This is the perfect vehicle. Someone the other day asked me was it a Porsche?

Love the car, not sure about the service

Love most things about the car, comfortable, spacious and delightful to drive. Getting it serviced is a pain to set up. Seems fine once the appointment is made, although it never seems the service people always fully understand the product. This applies to our Volvo plug in hybrid as well.

I love my car, but I wish the charging system was a bit better. At times, there can be long wait times and I wish there was more mileage. Also, the car is an expensive car.. Paying for charging also adds up.
