We love our Ioniq 6!

The Ioniq 6 is perfect for our Florida lifestyle. Most of our social life, errands, and medical care is within a 30 mile radius and we have a Level II charger in our garage. Our longer trips - such as to Miami or Tampa - are well within travel range from home. Once in the larger cities, there are plenty of charging stations to be found. The cabin is quiet and the car handles and rides beautifully. The technology available within and to the vehicle provide much more capability than we will ever need, but we appreciate the endless options available.

Great car!

I love this car on so many levels. It is so great to drive - outstanding pickup but also very smooth on the road. The car is also very roomy, much more so than comparable sized cars I have owned in the past. Many passengers comment on that as soon as they sit down. While the charging can be an issue with the unreliability/availability of high speed chargers, I love having an electric car and have no issues with local driving.

THE CAR SUDDENLY STALLED WITH A MESSAGE " CHECK BATTERY ", AND LOST ALL POWER. CURRENTLY IT HAS BEEN TOWED TO THE DEALER. WAITING TO FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG.

Review

I'm enjoying the car very much. It handles well, it charges above stated limits frequently, it feels solid. The lane holding aid is a little balky - sometimes feels like it's taking control from me. The rear view camera while in reverse can take longer than I'd expect to revert to normal screen after switching into drive. Driver-side visibility isn't great, though of course it has blind spot awareness. I've yet to get used to the window controls on the middle console but that's not big deal.

The Best Car I have ever owned/lease but there are some minor flaws

The 2024 IONIQ 6 is the best car that I have evern owned (well leased) but there are some basic flaws. The cupholder is horrible and there are so many times my drink fell off and spilt all over the place. It's a really smooth drive and it's always the fastest when I am at a charging station. MY biggest frustrating and complain is the door locks. I don't know how many times I swore I locked the door but when I came back it was unlocked. Why doesn't it self lock? It does when you drive. My previous vehicle had it. It's so bad that my car has gotten broken into many times. I have to park ont he street and I always turn and press lock. I've had everything in my trunk stolen (mainly old jacket) and the front., Plese fix this basic thing. Another issue is the local Hyundai dealer. The one I first went to closed so I now go to another. Problem is they are horrible. There's no good place to sit and they always try to upsel you. They tried to make me change my air filter for $153 and it took them 5+ hours to tell them that. I assumed Hyndai would be honest and lovely but no this dealership is awful.

Overall great challenge to Tesla Model 3

Pros and Cons vs Tesla, but Hyundai is doing a good job catching up and innovating in the electric car competition. Mileage rating is less than advertised is a major concern for all electric vehicles, but I find this less reliable than Tesla mileage estimates when I drive them both.

Ioniq review

Really enjoy the drive and features. A couple annoying things: sometimes the screen system is basically frozen and requires me to restart the car to get unstuck; the defrost cycle automatically turns on at max, instead of where I had it when the car was last stopped.

My favorite car to drive ever!

I enjoy this car and expect to have it for a long time. It is fun and easy to drive. It’s sporty and has great get-up-and-go. It’s easy to park. Our garage has a tight fit and we love the fact that it can drive itself out of the garage in order for us to get in the car more easily. The information screen is a good size and it is easy to learn. Things work the way you expect. However, we do have trouble with the profiles switching unexpectedly. We really like the camera system. It comes on when you need for parking and you don’t need to hunt for buttons to push. The back seat is very roomy. Friends are always surprised at how much space there is.

Sleek, sexy, powerful, nice road presence

Needs a locking glove box Needs updisplay on the limited ionic 6 1.5" to 2" trunk opening height ( tight squeezing suitcases in the opening) Needs taller door opening. Driverside hard to get into without bending head to get in around steering wheel. Average height 5 5 ppl experience this.

Still Fun To Drive - Two Years Later

Overall,. the car has been reliable and it's lots of fun to drive. The only issue I had was a dead 12V battery that was replaced the same day with a new one. Just a few days ago, the car's horn died and that is scheduled to service in a week.

Great car -- not so great in an energy backward state.

I like everything about this car, but finding charging stations has been a real drawback. I have ended up having to rent a car for long trips across or out of the state because this state doesn't support energy efficiency. It's MAGA driven :-<

2024 Ioniq 6 Limited

Love my car, wish it had heated rear seats and HUD offered in other markets. Not a fan of the lack of dials for gauges, prefer the gauges found in other Hyundais (2024+ Sonata, 2026+ Ioniq 6). My front fender liners are so thin they have deformed from ice buildup in winter. Both of my horns have died twice already.

Mostly great. Why does rear-facing camera always get blurred by rain? Why must front dash reflect by sun into windshield and obstruct vision? Why can’t main battery keep 12-volt charged when car mot being used?
