My first EV. Incredible experience.

I have enjoyed the whole EV experience. The driving and acceleration is so different from my Lexus RX. The Ioniq 6 Limited trim line offers many features, some of which I have never had. On the negative side, salespeople often don't know the cars well. And it was impossible to get info on level 2 charges at the dealership. "We don't sell them." was their only reply. The owners manual didn't even offer me specs on how large a charger I could install (or I didn't find it). I struggled on YouTube but eventually found several bloggers who know my car.

Great Vehicle that will be left to rot

Absolutely love driving my Ioniq 6. Handling is wonderful. It is super roomy in the front and back. Charging is quick and easy. Sometimes the doors are not as responsive to locking and unlocking as they should be, either by proximity or by touch. The biggest hangup is the infotainment system. Not only is the Hyundai installed one not updated regularly, but it lacks support for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. The salesperson made it sound like that was coming when we purchased. Over a year later and it has become clear that Hyundai makes no plans to update the capabilities. I'm guessing this car will continue to lack updates in the future and stay essentially unchanged, despite the ability to update these items.

Nice car, my first EV. Good long range, quiet, looks nice, good power

On the negative side, there was a recall that involved me taking the car in for a 3.5hr fix. Took a lot of time. Other than that only complaint is wishing I could not all the beeping that happens when I back up. Even beeps when there is nothing I am running in to.

Comfort and simplicity

The Ioniq 6 is a well-constructed car that rides like a dream. Great care went into designing the interior, and it has all the creature comforts a reasonable person desires. It handles well and is intuitively simple to operate. Realistic in-town mileage is about 270-300 miles to a charge. After owning a Lexus that got about 350 miles to a tank, I am a bit disappointed in the range (especially on the highway), but I very much like the car overall.

Amusement Ride

I find the car is a pleasure to drive. Excellent handling and quiet on the passengers. The seats are exceptionally comfortable and the media center is easy to navigate. Only problems are slight "bugs" with the software. The AC stays activated when I turn the heat on in the winter. The app still displays my car needing servicing. Lastly and MOST Importantly: make it so that holding down the "parking assist" button TURNS IT OFF. Having to repress it every 2 minutes in traffic is worse than listening to it beeping.

Great car, problematic ui

The car in general is great and I love it. The UI is severely damaged, I presume by idiotic lawyers. It frequently beeps and displays warnings that have nothing to do with what is happening.

Great Car, Good Value

We were initially drawn to the Ioniq 6 by the range of the SEL RWD. On our test drive, we were impressed by the comfortable, spacious interior and smooth ride. Our friends frequently comment about the appearance and styling. My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer an optional trim and accessory upgrade on the long range SEL model that would offer an upgraded interior and some convenience accessories (i.e. auto dimming mirror) at e xtra cost without sacrificing the excellent range.

Excellent efficiency / unsafe touch screen

charging cord came without instructions; scheduled charging is not like 2020 Ioniq - it just charges immediately, so car sits at 100% for hours, rather than finishing just before the scheduled departure (as the 2020 Ioniq does); the touch screen demands driver look away from road to swipe through multiple screens = UNSAFE, inconvenient; smart vent unreliable - windscreen has fogged in at 50mph while smart vent deployed; extremely spacious interior;
