Fun, great car to own

Car is very responsive and VERY fun to drive. The screen can be tedious to navigate but I am slowly catching on. Car is comfortable and I love the heated seats. The only negative is that, on occasion, the car will not go into reverse and, during this time, will not go into drive. This has happened four times but, as of right now, turning the engine off and then back on solves the problem. The shop cannot find anything but a glitch in the computer system is definitely there. Still, if I had it to do all over again, I would still get the Ioniq6. Never planning to go back to gas cars.

Lower quality than expected

Our dealer told us it would have the same features as our 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SEL. We discovered after purchase that it is missing several features, including the memory seat settings, no premium audio, and several others. Most disappointed in audio quality.

Ioniq 6 Good

An awesome vehicle to drive, very fun and has very good charging. It lacks a little bit in software, but makes up for it in comfort and smooth drives.

Interior color

Overall, the car is a beautiful car. I just don’t like the white interior. The ambient lights are wonderful. The safety features are great. I just don’t like the interior that is white. It’s easy to get dirty. If you don’t get it ceramic coating on the seats. They will get dirty very quick so you have get that to keep it protected, Hyundai does not offer that at the door. That’s basically the downside of the car.

Love driving this car. It has excellent efficiency and handling. Only complaint would be thy I would like to be able to disable some features in the software like dual zone AC.

Solid performance and craftsmanship and fun to drive

Well built. It feels very solid. Interior cabin is very quiet. The ride is very responsive with a lot of quick torque and power. The suspension gives a very comfortable ride on slow local roads, however high speed bumpy roads are not so comfortable. Excellent mileage at speeds around 40 mph however faster speeds seem to eat up battery charge with much less efficiency.

The car isn't bad, it has a lot of small things that if you really don't care about them or are attracted enough to more major features you can easily overlook and have a wonderful experience, but if some of the small things are things that you think about, it will likely really annoy you. This car is my daily driver and my only mode of transportation. I drive 2 miles to work 4-6 days a week.

GREAT CAR but too many unnecessary automated features

The Ioniq is a great car: very smooth ride, excellent handling, eye-catching etc. My only complaints are the extra motorized features that are likely to be expensive repairs down the road (trunk does not need to be motorized, plug-in port door definitely does not need to be motorized, etc.), and the interior door hollow openings are hard to clean. Suggestion: Make a much simpler version and sell it for half the price.
