More tech but less reliable than my 2022 Kona limited

If the modem that communicates with the app on my phone worked for 6 consecutive months without open tickets Hyundai Bluetooth ignores and repeated needs to visit the dealer, I might like this car more. transmission is wonky too!

I like my car

I've had my Kona for just over a month. I really like it. My biggest complaint is that it isn't a stick shift since I've driven one for 42 years! I'm only five feet tall, so this vehicle fits me. It is very roomy, gets good gas mileage and fit my budget for purchase. The salesman at the dealership was very straight forward and not pushy. I hate the touch screen technology, but I'm a luddite and you can't escape it these days.

N Line S Transmission behavior

When accelerating, even fairly gently, often the engine revs way high but the car doesn't move. Feels like the engine is not connected to the transmission or something. Was told by service advisor that this is normal for Kona N Line and a few other Hyundai models. Frankly, it is dangerous to press the gas and not have the car move. Can't really believe this is normal behavior for a vehicle.
