Disappointed in Convenience Pacakage

The most disappointing and in convient hing about my 2025 Kona is that I am unable to open and close the back hatch automatically. I am a short 75 years old woman and the biggest disappointment is closing the back hatch. This is my 4th Hyundai, my previously one was the Sante Fe which I loved. My grandson needed a car and I decided to give him the Sante Fe and get a new car for myself. The new Sante Fe is too large for me so I decided to get the Kona, obviously I didn't do my homework and thought the automatic hatch was a convenience. Didn't even think about checking that out during the test drive. I even talked my husband into giving his Tacoma to our other grandson and getting a new Hyundai Truck. Once I realized that the automatic hatch wasn't a convenience I went back to the dealer to see if it could be an add-on but was told it couldn't. Moral to the story guess if I want a small car for a Little Old Lady I need to look at a different brand!

Have returned to the Dealer 3 times with the same problem.

Car is fine. Dealer is a disaster. Returned 3 times same problem. 14 days to get a service appt...nobody returns calls...impossible to speak to anyone ..RICK CASE PLANTATION

Good car but hate the exterior door lock touch sensor. Needs a button. Love the smart cruise control and lane assist. Drives itself down the highway (hand must be on steering wheel).

“A joy to drive!”

This is what my husband most often says about our 2025 Hyundai Kona. We especially appreciate the plethora of safety features & driver-assists introduced since 2012 (when we bought our previous new car, an Elantra Touring). Apple Car Play and the large interactive display are fantastic. We also appreciate the gas mileage of the Kona, and many lovely exterior design features including the light bar headlights & great Pearl Orange color.

I really enjoy driving my Kona 2025. It looks great and the color combination is classy (in my opinion). I wish the trunk was a bit more spacious and that it had an automatic unlock latch. Overall can't complain, it is a good SUV.
