Bad matte chrome

Matte coating on chrome areas of front peeling. Looks bad, only 7k miles and 7 months after purchase, crappy peeling coating on chrome peeling

Love my Palisade Night

I love my palisade Knight 2024. It was about 15,000 cheaper than all the other brands that I looked at at the time of purchase. It is a quality vehicle and I’ve had no mechanical issues. It has good power and gets decent gas mileage. My only complaint was with the selling dealership told me I needed to get an additional warranty on my vehicle from assurance extended warranty company. They made me think that there were items at the factory warranty would not cover during the initial five years. I called corporate and they were wishy-washy about whether that was accurate and not Give me a definitive answer. I called assurance automotive and talk to a person in their claims department he told me under no certain terms that I need an extended warranty until after the 60,000 miles. He recommended I canceled this as any issues that were not covered by the factory warranty during the first 60,000 would also not be covered by the assurance extended warranty. It took multiple phone calls, but I finally got corporate to send me an email that said the warranty was good for five years since 60,000 miles and I did not need the extended warranty that the dealership was trying to sell me. So if you run into this with the dealership just do not buy the extended warranty until after your factory warranty is nearing its conclusion.

My Palisades

I don't like the color , I wanted a RED COLOR. It didn't come in a Red, and why I couldn't order it in a red . That would have made me very happy. The color came in RED for all other SUV'S and car's.

Great vehicle

Overall the Palisade is a great vehicle. Lots of features found on much higher priced models. The styling imitates several other brands. Get rid of push button shifter. Improve the operators book as it is difficult to find things, trying to cover all models with features different from the limited. ‘ if so equipped’ is overused.

Probably wouldn't buy again

Mostly good. Great comfort, styling, and ride. Annoying that after less than 19,000 miles the from grill, and paint has numerous chips, pits, and blemishes.

Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy

I absolutely love my Palisade Calligraphy. I love all the bells and whistles in this car. The ride is super comfortable. I love how the seat hugs me when I shift to Sport mode or when I go over 80 mph. I love the massage drivers seat, and all seats having heating and cooling, along with the heated steering wheel. the amount of cameras is amazing. There are so many options to name but these are my favorite.

Two major system failures in the first 21,000 miles

So far in my first 17 months and 21,000 miles I have had the A/C compressor seize. This was covered under the warranty The drive belt also failed, While this is a "wear item" it should NEVER break at 21,000 miles! The belt should last 60,000-80,000 miles. This failure caused the engine to overheat. Luckily I shut the off and then had it flat-bedded to the dealer. The repairs for this problem were NOT covered by Hyundai.

Problems in a young vehicle.

Overall great vehicle. Problems with chipping on brushed nickel on front of vehicle. Driver seat has a lot of functions but the seat bolsters fail. I have had it fixed and bolsters failed within the first couple of weeks. Starting to feel like possible shifting issues already. Will need to have looked at.

Bang for your Buck!

I researched vehicles for over six months and found that the Hyundai Palisade had all of the safety features and technology I wanted all at a comfortable price point. It's definitely a bang for your buck compared to other makes and models. There are some features I wish were slightly different or we had the ability to adjust, but the level of customization is amazing, and almost makes up for it.
