I’ve had multiple issues that weren’t covered by warranty

I loved the looks of the 2023 Santa Cruz limited turbo in white. I added roof rails, new black rims aftermarket, door edge trim, etc. Then I discovered the bed cover isn’t waterproof. I wouldn’t have bought it if I knew this. I’ve got 70,000 miles on my 2023, in last 10,000 miles not covered by warranty I’m out $5k out of pocket on repairs. From fuel delivery, exhaust, cooling, etc. wouldn’t buy another one.

Comfortable, quiet, adaptable and sporty

Have loved this sporty SUV/pickup ever since day one. Definitely appreciate the turbo 2.5L and AWD. The SEL Premium came with a retractable hard top for the rear bed and it locks up tight whenever the doors are locked. Can’t complain about the 28mpg average either (in town it’s 24, on highway it’s closer to 33).

Fun to Drive while providing the utility of a small "pick-up" truck.

My experience with my 2023 Santa Cruz as been very good. I have enjoyed the use of the covered bed for hauling many things associated with my gardening and other outside supplies at our home. It drives like a car and is really fun to drive. I appreciate the technology of the semi "self-driving" feature, which allows you to take your hands off the wheel for a temporary need, especially when making longer trips. There are only two things I would mention in way of improvement as follows: 1. I suggest that on future models try to make the cover on the truck bed water proof. It keeps about 90% of the water out of the bed when raining and/or getting it washed through a carwash. 2. The transmission seems to take a couple of seconds to move the car forward after changing gears. Although is not much delay, if you are in a tight spot in traffic at an intersection, for example, those couple of seconds could be the difference in a wreck happening. Overall, I have been very satisfied with my Santa Cruz. If the transmission issue I mentioned should not be happening, please communicate to me and I will take it in to the dealer.

I love how it drives and handles. Not a fan of the bed

Unhappy with the tonneau cover. Why put a cover on the bed and not have it waterproof? Unacceptable! makes no sense. This is my 3rd and last Hyundai. I love the vehicle but the cover is a deal breaker.

No parts available

My tonneau cover for the back broke months ago . Hyundai says it has been on banal order. The selling feature of the car is the truck capacity but that has been rendered useless. I have a case open but Hyundai is just sitting on it. I can’t even sell my vehicle with a broken truck cover so I am stuck. Hyundai can’t even provide the replacement parts needed for this vehicle.

Finally the right size truck

Great vehicle - smooth, quiet and comfortable, lots of good tech. While the bed is small is fine for hauling everyday items. Tows my boat while getting 17 MPG. Futuristic and sleek looking. Stylist and modern interior.

Great retirement vehicle. Lots of tech and safety features on inside. Newer model even better. Looks on outside could be improved. Comfortable and fun to drive. My favorite vehicle to use for daily routine travel. I was so impressed with vehicle that I just recently purchase wife a Tuscon from same dealer.
