Overall good vehicle

I've only had a few issues so far but the dealership was great with diagnosing and resolving them 1. Warped brake rotor Replaced both with new pads, free. 2. Trunk release solenoid failed Replaced entire unit, free 3. Rear shock failed Replaced both, free All work performed promptly and efficiently

Enjoying it

The Santa Cruz drives excellent, we feel safe in it during winter. It is comfortable and does well with gas milage. The only fault we have found is the low tire lights come on the dash when it is very cold outside, and they do not go off even if we check the tires for air, that is very annoying, so we would suggest this feature be improved.

2024 Santa Cruz XLT

Very comfortable high performance sport pick-up truck. The 2.5L 4-cylinder turbo engine is fantastic! Accelerates very quickly to 70 mph for expressway driving. The Santa Cruz has been good in the snow. Very enjoyable auto to drive.

Overall, I like it, but...

I have to admit that when they first came out, I thought they were ridiculous looking, but then I drove one. I was given one as a loaner for the weekend. I was in love with it. I love the pick up, and I love that I am not sitting at car height. Having owned it for about 1-/2 years now, there are a couple of things I do like and do not like.

Perfect union of SUV/small truck. Fun and comfortable to drive. Good gas mileage (up to 31 on highway), especially if you do not hit the gas pedal hard to engage the 280 horsepower engine.

Great everyday/homeowner vehicle

Im a big guy and this thing is very comfortable. Got a 2024 Cruz SEL with tech package. Heated cloth seats are amazing in winter. Doesn't get overly cold and heated seats are quite powerful. SEL with tech package was the correct choice for us but I do with I had a heated wheel. Also, got the 2.5 without the turbo. If your young and have something to prove, don't get this. However, if cheaper price is a priority, this is a great engine/trans combo. No turbo and regular 8 speed (I think) trans. Not getting into that CVT crud.

Great *Cruck* (car truck)

I like my toy. Has a lot of room in back seat, bed and trunk. Great for road trips. 2 things would be nice to have in this vehicle (minor) - power rear window and power passenger seat. Wonder handling.
