Great to have a half truck

My wife and I have been wanting a truck for hauling but needed one that would fit in the garage. Bingo ! It fits. Wish it had remote control rear view side mirrors for the garage space. Maybe too many distractive features and alert notifications. Other than that make sure your top bars are tightened all the way to avoid whistling. Many comments received about the look. Very stylish for a truck. Love the color sage/gray.

LEMON

i WAS BACK TO THE DEALER WITH TRANSMISSION ISSUES AND IT TOOK THEM THREE TIMES BEFORE THEY CHANGED OUT THE TRANSMISSION. I REALLY LIKE THE VEHICLE BUT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE TRANSMISSION AT SUCH VERY LOW MILEAGE.

Sporty looking truck.

The truck is sporty looking and I couldn't be happier with any other color. Mine is colored California Sand. I get a lot of compliments on on the body style and color. The truck handles very well when driving.

It’s fun but has flaws

I have the xrt and it’s great but it does have some flaws. For instance, many vehicles around the same year have a 360 camera - not including this in a vehicle that is supposed to be tech forward is a complete miss. You also lose a lot of room in the truck bed by having the built in cover. This is due to the storage near the rear of the truck bed. I’m also very surprised this car does not have wireless car play but other Hyundai models of the same year do.

Santa Cruz is Awesome!!!

Love my Santa Cruz. I get lots of compliments on it. I enjoy driving it. My only complaint is the leather driver seat has gotten a small tear in it.

Attractive style

This is a super nice looking truck! Easy to drive not awkward and bulky! Could use a bigger engine like a v6 so better performance and gas mileage. Super nice safety features! Truck will drive by itself if needed as well! Love the activity package and built in ice chest! Love love the warranty! Hyundai please keep the Santa Cruz...just upgrade it!!!

Pros and Cons

Pros: Looks great. Rides smooth. Extending bed and abundance of storage are great. Excellent gas mileage. Large backup screen is nice. Lots of bells and whistles, which leads me to the cons... Cons: The instructions in the manuals do not match the actual procedures for accessing and changing menu items (even the dealer was confused!). Lane assist will not always read lane shifts in construction zones, pulling you into barriers and cones or causing wrecks. One day we witnessed our car windows go down, in a rainstorm, when we were in our home and not one was near the app or fob (yes, there are witnesses) so the sensor/electronic system is awful. The clock location changes between screens also, which is annoying. It's a love-hate relationship.
