Great Hybrid SUV but Questionable Build Quality

Overall, the Santa Fe Hybrid is a great vehicle with plenty of features on the Calligraphy trim. The MPG and performance have been very good; I've been hitting the advertised MPG for the AWD version consistently. The interior is good with a very intuitive design; I also greatly appreciate the double pad chargers as well as all the storage compartments. With the Calligraphy trim the leather seats are super comfortable with the Nappa leather. I do wish however the there was less glossy plastic trim pieces on the inside on the dashboard. Unfortunately, when it comes to the build quality there is a lot more to be desired; not long after purchase I noticed the driver side interior door handles had some minor paint issues that looked like it wasn't painted properly at the factory. In order to fix it would require replacing both of them. Also, the passenger B pillar interior trim was not properly installed at the factory either. There was a tab on the lower trim part that was bent sticking out where it was not properly latched on to the top trim piece. Both pieces had to be replaced with new ones since they were damaged during factory installation. The same B pillar also has an intermittent rattle noise when going over road imperfections which is very distracting and annoying. The dealership I took it to has been unable reproduce it and I will have to take it back when the weather is colder since the issue is more pronounced under colder temperatures. If not for the build quality issues this would be a near perfect SUV, I hope Hyundai is able to do some QA control at the Montgomery plant because a lot of these build issues should have been easily prevented and/or identified before shipping the vehicle out to the dealer. It's very bittersweet buying such an expensive vehicle with a lot of these small issues that sour what should be an exciting new ownership experience.

No satisfied with the trouble that i have got till now.

Dear Team, i have been using Hyundai , Accent Verna and other Hyundai vehicles in the past and hence i bought Santa Fe too in the USA. My experience with Santafe is not quite great, false alarms, and book latch and other electrical signal issues with vehicle not really make me great about Hyundai vehicle now. its been now already twice after the recent service that i have given my car to showroom to fid the false alarm. still no updates and my car was fully dead when i went to pick up my vehicle after my pickup allocated message . Great car! Big, easy to drive, plenty of safety features, every bell and whistle imaginable. Hybrid gas mileage after 5400 miles is 36.7 mpg. Probably 2000 miles on highways and the rest around town. Only drawback is the AC and heat button. Hard to adjust while driving.
