Hyundai 2026 SantaFe Hybrid, Calligraphy
We really love our new Hyundai 2026 SantaFe Hybrid, Calligraphy. It is such a smooth riding vehicle and we have already put many miles on it driving to north and south to visit our grandchildren. Friends that have driven with us also make comments about the quiet and smooth ride. It is a very attractive vehicle and we like the various amenities that help operate the vehicle. Though I must say, the vehicle is still very new to us and we haven't mastered all of the workings of those amenities yet.
However, as we get more used to it there are a couple of things we would have liked to have had. The model we chose only comes with three rows of seating. Our 2020 Santa Fe came with a second row bench seat and the back was for covered storage. That model also provided additional storage below the carpeted surface in the back area. That was super convenient for my husband to keep his tools, that we ALWAYS travel with. Additionally, the battery for the hybrid model takes away the space provided to store the retractable cover for the back space. Therefore, it is always getting in the way of anything we are trying to store in that back section. The only place to store this is behind the front seats and that is super annoying as it gets in the way of anyone sitting in those seats.
The climate controls require the driver to look down to make any adjustments and therefore, take his eyes off the road while driving. They should be relocated.
It would also be nice to have the DRIVER Profile include the automatic adjustment of the outside mirrors to match the Driver's profile.
