Nice During the Test Drive, but Long Distance, Maybe Not

Several reasons for the title. During the test drive, it was quiet and smooth. After driving it for over two months and over 4,000 miles, it is OK. First, fuel economy is no where near what is advertised. I have not been within 6-7 MPG of the advertised MPG since I have owned the car. Second, the car pulls to the right when applying the breaks at lower speeds. Third, road noise, it is quiet at low speeds, but the engine sounds and road noise increase to where the sound system cannot compensate for the noise. Fourth, the seats become uncomfortable after driving for more than three hours. I could go on, but I will be trading the car off in about 10 months time.

So far so good

The comfort, performance and mileage are good. The documentation sux actually. I still do not understand auto regen. I think the sel version needs more features though. For a minimum of full dashboard. For over $40k there are some things missing. Also it cost me another $500 to buy a spare wheel and tire with Hyundai factory hanger. That should have been with it from beginning. Fix a flat does not help with blowout.

Best Santa Fe yet

This is my fourth Santa Fe and I could not be happier....except for the driver nag camera. This car is comfortable, powerful enough for me and very comfortable. I make 12 hour trips in it with no discomfort at all. The ergonomics are excellent. The fuel economy is outstanding as well. And I love the look of it. I don't call it an SUV because it is more like a station wagon than an SUV.

Nice smooth quiet

My first time buying a Hyundai. I like the car a lot. There are some things on the IP that I would like to be layed out/displayed (for example, when Sirius/XM is playing, it's difficult to see the song/station/artist without really concentrating on the small text) differently but I've purchased GM vehicles for the past 40 years so it will take some time to get used to it. Also, I wish there was an automatic lock after leaving the vehicle. The driver relaxation seat is nice, but I never use it. I would've rather had the extendable leg rest like the Kia Sorrento xline prestige offers. Absoulety love the hybrid version I have. Extremely good on gas.

My Santa Fe

I love my Santa Fe Hybrid Caligraphy. A very smooth, surprisingly powerful, comfortable and economical vehicle. Immediately after getting this car we took 7000 mile round trip to Montana and back home here in deep south Texas without a single problem or issue. The car was able to handle high cross winds, serious rain and some snow. The electronics, the Comfortable interior, and the vehicle performed perfectly. Great car!

Absolutely love my new calligraphy 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe, it’s fun.

I would give it a 9 1/2 out of 10 the only reason for 9 1/2 is the zipper on the passenger side. It’s already breaking.
