Almost perfect

I love the vehicle, however two things need to be addressed by the manufacturer. 1. The seatbelt buckle placement is horrible. The back seats are especially hard to buckle because they are almost below the seat and there is no way to pull it up. 2. The headrests look great and don’t bother us driving around town, but when you take a road trip, they are the most uncomfortable headrests ever. They force your head forward which in turn gives you neck, back and shoulder pain after an hour of driving. They need to be either adjustable forward/backward or permanently revamp them all together.

Great Family Vehicle with Good MPG

We have owned our boxy 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid for over 5 months now. This is a great family vehicle that gets about 35 MPG on highway. We took on 2 x long trips since March 2026, one time it got 38 MPG from Virginia to Florida. When we took to New York, we only got 35 MPG probably from more traffic and mountains in Pennsylvania. This is comfort for the 1st row and 2nd row also. Our 2026 Santa Fe SEL AWD has advanced technical items such as AEB, lane keeping, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Automatic headlights and high beams. It is a 5-star safety vehicle. We love the USB-A ports in the driver and passenger side seats from the 2nd row charging. We also love the trunk area as it has a wide hatch and large area. The driver dash in very large (25" long) and the cargo area after the 3rd row is very generous for 5 carry-on suitcases (14.6 Cubic Feet) if needed. We usually on had 5 to 6 passengers, so you can than pack all luggage, you just have drop half of the 3rd row seat. We installed a 2" tow hitch and tow wiring kit for $300 (DYI) and Roof Racks for $130 from Amazon.com (DYI). We have used the roof rack to haul our Thule Skybox for both long trips and still got 34+ MPG. It is also very quiet inside this SUV versus our former 2018 GMC Acadia. We love it so far!!

Hybrid is Great

Hated the car on exterior. Got inside and fell in love with how spacious it is. Outside is growing on me but still not my favorite. Some tech things like touch screen cabin air settings are unsafe and require eyes off of the road to adjust.

120 days driving

The biggest problem for us is the fact there is not a radio/cd player. We cannot figure out how to get any music or news on what is in the car. What are the + & - paddles on the back side of the steering wheel? When we park the car and come back to it, the fan blower is still running, why? This has caused us to think about getting a different vehicle.

Best luxury and comfort at reasonable and affordable price

It has the best interior and exterior design and could be compared to the luxury vehicles such as BMW, Audi. But Hyundai has more safety features that those luxury cars doesn't provide at lower price compared to most of the luxury cars. "With Luxury cars we just get feeling of luxury but with Santa Fe you get the actual luxury" - Tony Goda. I mean safety, comfort, interior design, and the drive itself.
