Nice vehicle

I wish the hybrid aspect of this vehicle operated more constantly than it does. More often than not it functions on gas power which reduces overall mileage. I'm not sure if it has to do with the small sized battery or what, but it is a bit disappointing.

Good

Traded a 2024 SantaFe hybrid to get all wheel drive. Driveability on the 2026 sux! Low speed hesitation is bad and dangerous when mugging or pulling out to traffic. The 2024 has the same engine a transmission setup and was seamless at low speed performance. My dealer says it’s normal???

We love the car. Easy to drive. Good visibility. Excellent cameras. The only negative is our constant struggle to understand and use Carplay, which is at time maddening.

Surprisingly comfortable, a bit underpowered but excellent overall

Comfortable. Fuel efficient. Perfect for commuting or long drives. Not too much road noise. Great tech features. Roomy inside with good leg room. Haven't used it for hauling anything yet. Doesn't feel cheap quality. I really like my Santa Fe.

Good but early issues

I received the vehicle brand new in need of repairs that resulted in me having to make two visits to the dealership and wait a little less than a week for a replacement part. This immediately resulted in me wanting to give the vehicle back but could not because I travelled immediately after delivery for two months. If I could I would have returned the vehicle. Having been forced to keep the vehicle it is good but I am concerned about the long term quality.

2026 Santa Fe Hybrid is more than what I expected.

All is good except an issue I had with the brake system where I was provided with a loaner car for 12 days while my vehicle was fixed as to why the brakes locked and I couldn't move my vehicle. Being a brand new 2026 vehicle caused me to have a major concern and to this day it still haunts me that it could occur again.
