Best car I’ve ever owned so far

I have so much confidence in this car. I love the color (Hampton Gray) with the light gray interior. I have so many compliments on how beautiful it is and how roomy the front and back seats are. I have not had the opportunity to have anyone in the 3 row yet. This car is not only beautiful but has so many features my friends can’t believe how little I paid for it next to their choices. I love that it doesn’t look like every other mid size SUV out there. What sold me is the 10/1000,000 mile guarantee.

Questionable service

After a scheduled oil change my car was returned with no new oil and I drove it for a few miles before it seized and stopped

great but not perfect

overall I like my car but it is loud and I had a lot of problems with wind noise that the dealership was unable to fix after 5 different appointments.

Car is amazing on gas. i have had a couple problems leaving the mountains from hiking and the wheel squeezing turning left but other than that i absolutly love it and fits my 3 dogs with there kennels

Isues

The tire pressure sensors in the tires won’t reset when you put air in the tires and I can’t manually reset the sensor. So I’m driving around a brand new vehicle with warning lights on even though the pressure readings are above the threshold. This is annoying. Plus the dealership customer service sucks, they won’t respond to my emails.

I like most of this Car!

In the big picture, I am satisfied with my 2026 Santa Fe. There are many small details that I wish could be changed. Having two profiles does not work for us. It would be better if we had the option to share a profile so we could share maps, radio stations, etc. Just have separate seat settings. The location of the cup holders is really bad. Cups are in the way when I want to use the arm rest. I don't like the way the door locks work. I would prefer to press the door lock button before exiting the vehicle so that my hands are not full. I have many more details like this. Considering how much thought Hyundai put into this car, it seems like they had a lot of opportunity to get it right and give customers options to correct these things.

Love it, but the infotainment needs work

I love our new Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy, it's so nice to drive and looks great. It's the perfect amount of roomy for our family of 3 with a toddler in a carseat. The one thing that drives me crazy is the infotainment system. I had a 2019 Sonata with a better interface and features. The Sirius integration is terrible, you can't see the song titles or artist in the station list. You actually have to scroll to the channel name to see what's playing. Figuring out which phone is connected or playing sound is frustrating, and switching profiles takes so many buttons when it auto selected the wrong driver profile. I don't understand why the Hyundai interface has gotten significantly worse instead of better. I've owned many Hyundai in Genesis is over the years and this is shockingly bad. I also really hate that the steering wheel is in a bad spot and a strange size, I can't see the gauges or speedometer because the steering wheel blocks it. I don't like that the Lane cameras appear in the dashboard cluster instead of on the infotainment system like the backup cameras. The steering wheel blocks it, and it's not an intuitive spot to look. Even after months I still find myself looking around to find the lane departure cameras to check my blind spots. It is also manual steering wheel adjustment in the calligraphy package which seems cheap.
