Like my Santa Fe, worried about the engine durability

I own this Santa Fe because my previous one caught fire and burned up while traveling. We bought the only Santa Fe the dealer because it would hold our stuff. My son had the engine in his Tucson go out, if was fully replaced but it took the dealer three weeks to diagnose and another two weeks to fix. They gave him a loaner car for the final two weeks, but that is a long time without a vehicle. Had a friend who had a Hyundai that started burning a lot of oil, so he sold it off. I travel cross country in my Santa Fe and sometimes it gives me pause.

Affordable vehicle loaded with latest features

Affordable vehicle with tons of features onboard, however the chipset is on lower side which would feel out dated within an year of purchase. The navigation system, onboarded software sounds out dated which is very hard to navigate around. The experience with the Hyundai service center is below par as there are lot of hidden things in the paper work. Auto cruise control also not intelligent enough as it does hard break as it fails to recognize the vehicle in the front on time.

Santa Fe Calligraphy

We love the vehicle but there is one downside. It rides smooth on nice roads but it doesn’t take the bumps very well. It pounds on a bumpy road.

Very good not great.

Looks great. Rides well. Don't like the auto shut off feature. The app doesn't work well. Have tried numerous times to turn the car on before getting in. Only the key fob works and that has limited range.

I love my 2023 Santa Fe

I love my 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. Very comfortable for family runs to the super market or long trips. Super reliable and dependable. Haven't had any issues in the 3 years of ownership (65,000 miles).
