nice suv but has issues

I like the new Sante Fe but the quality is not the same as my 2023. This new model has many noises and not a good suspension. The newer tires on the Calligraphy are terrible in the snow and I wish I would have bought the Limited instead. The tech features are great. The room is better and a more comfortable interior.

Super Safe

In Dec 2025, experienced a head-on collision at 45mph vs stopped vehicle. All airbags deployed. Bluelink system engaged and confirmed occupant status and coordinated for police and fire. Prior to accident, we loved our Santa-Fe Calligraphy. Excellent systems and convenience features. 20+ MPG.

It looks good but has some issues

We bought the car at the end of 2024, and unfortunately we have had multiple issues since then. 1. There was a dent in the upholstery on the rear seat. We were initially promised that it would be replaced. Later, the dealer said replacement was not possible and suggested only sending it to a detailer. This change of approach was not fair and did not meet what was originally promised. In the front passenger seat, a piece of leather sticks out from under the plastic trim. The dealer claimed it was repaired, but they only pushed it back in. The issue came back and was not properly fixed. 2. When it is cold, the motor responsible for adjusting the driver’s seat makes a rattling noise. We reported this issue, but as usual, the dealer said they could not hear anything. 3. There was a problem with the Bluelink system causing the battery to drain occasionally. We took the car to the dealer, and again, they said they could not find any issue. 4. The cabin air filter cover behind the glove box is jammed and cannot be opened. The dealer did not seem concerned about this problem either. 5. The rear hatch rattles when it is cold. This is a known issue in other models as well, but the dealer refused to take responsibility. Overall, the dealer is not customer-friendly after the purchase of the car with so many issues. Once the car was sold, they seemed no longer interested in addressing problems or helping the customer. I would not buy this car again, and I honestly feel somewhat scammed by the whole experience.

Snacks

I waited for my vehicle to have it's oil change done and feel the waiting room could use some snacks or a snack machine in the area. It was also suggested I replace my cabin air filter and I had done that myself last month so I know it doesn't need it. The video of the inspection doesn't show me the cabin air filter taken out so it was assumed I needed it without validating it.
