Great car, not so great dealership

I love the car; so far so good. Personally too much technology wrapped around it, many menus to navigate, but that would apply to all vehicles today. But the dealership in Vacaville, CA did not deliver the second key at purchase, and there are jack components still missing in the trunk area. I asked them to deliver and was told by a sales manager that they would, but I never received either. I don't want to drive between 40 and 50 miles to retrieve that which should have been delivered when I purchased.

Sante fe review

Overall we do like the Sante fe. Two issues we see that could be improved: 1. Adaptive cruise. We have two cars with adaptive cruise and the Sante fe is less smooth in regards to steering. It feels like it overcorrects itself and tends to be “jerky”, especially with resistance from holding the steering wheel. 2. The turbo charge seems to take too long to react. I know that all turbo chargers have a delay but this seems excessive.

Good needs improvements

Good vehicle performance and comfort but breaks are slow. Rear wiper doesn’t come with wiper water option even in XRT. Needs improvement in driving and pickup.

Electronic issues

The car has been showing a pop up message, warnings about power issues. I can get the service center to address the issue. As you know it a 2025 model with extended warranty.

My review

Overall I’m happy with the vehicle, but it was in the shop for an about a week because of two sensors. when I first got it. Then I had to take it back for another bad sensor. Now there is a recall for the passenger seatbelt that can’t be fixed until June sometime!

A good value for the money

The vehicle has almost every option you could put into it however, there are a few things that would be nice to have. Like automatic locker when you walk away. The entertainment system needs a little tweaking. The car threw a code. I went up to the service and was told that I’d have to make an appointment Weeks And Weeks in Advance. Also no loaners are available. I bought new cars before where loaners are standard.

Great vehicle but noisy

I like my Santa Fe, but on certain roads I get a terrible noise emitting from the dash. I don’t know if caused by the low profile tires or just a design flaw. Unfortunately it happens all the time on specific blacktop roads.
