Comfortable and spacious ride for first and second row. Haven't used third row yet but looks fine. More bells and whistles than I like, Still getting use to what's what. Excellent back up camera and the gear shift is easy to use but you have to get use to it. Rides smooth, use cruise control a lot and you can adjust car length for cars in front before yours slows down. Remember to turn off lane departure feature while using cruise control or distracted driver warning will come on frequently.

Not happy

The headlights H design leaves dark spots at eye level my headlights stay on when in off position and are off in auto position. My charging station pads go solid orange while driving on the driver side but work when car is still as per service advised video

Santa Fe critique

Disappointed in the temperature control system. No digital settings with “Auto” feature. Never had a vehicle without digital temp display. A/c air flow temp seems inconsistent.

Take a Break - Coffee Cup interferes with driving safety

All "safety features" can be disengaged except for the Take a Break - Coffee cup. The algorithm isn't properly tuned and gives multiple false alerts, even with short drives. It interferes with driving safety and is extremely inaccurate, hence, dangerous. Hyundai needs to install an update that either removes this alert or allows one to disengage it as all other "safety features". Our salesman assured us all alerts and warnings could be disengaged - he was wrong - this inaccurate and frustrating alert cannot be disengaged.

Santa Fe XRT. Nice but a lot to learn about system.

I like the vehicle. There are a few things I feel could be changed. 1st, there is no way to lock the doors from inside by push button upon exiting. Ex. Person in car I leave and person left behind can’t lock door. 2nd. When pushing stop button most cars radio operate 10-15 sec before shutting off. 3rd can’t clean blades on wipers bc hood in way of pulling up not sure how to change. 3rd I have 2000m and car didn’t start 3x right away and use of Fob on push button also didn’t work. 4th stereo system needs updated sounds monotone. Lots of things to learn I’m sure there will other things as I go but so far satisfied it’s fun to drive. Reliability question below can’t rate too early.

My third Santa Fe

I chose the XRT model for its increased towing capacity and general trim. Comfortable seats, good visibility, lots of gadgets. Strangely, no garage door opener. I get an overall mileage of 24-27 mpg.
