Best car I've ever had

High mileage, runs like new, quick and sporty, easy to care for. Kids have grown from youngest in a car seat to oldest learning to drive in this car. Perfect family sedan , not too big, utilizes space exceptionally well. Very comfortable to travel in, awesome gas milage.

2011 Sonata

The road noise is unbearable. You have to turn up the volume on your radio or phone to hear. Also due to a design flaw, one of the AC vents is blocked by the steering column. Seats are not ergonomically suitable. Very bad for someone with back problems. Otherwise great vehicle with excellent gas mileage. Warranty can’t be beat!!

My car is a good highway car and does not feel light weight . Enjoy the room inside for passenger gas mileage is extremely good for the highway i was driving to my daughter college a lot and it held the road in the winter storms

My depandable Sonata

I found my Sonata to be a reliable vehicle. I have not required any significant repair work need after accumulating 76,000 miles. When it comes time for another new car, I will definitely consider buying another Sonata.

My Hybrid Sonata; The Black Pearl

My Hybrid was the first car that called me spiritually from its design and colors. It had a certain kind of look before I even got behind the wheel then I felt a quietness while driving also the comfortable state of mind that I was having. I am sorry that I don't have it anymore because my son drives it now, but I do take it in for oil changes. Don't feel sorry for me because i'm getting the 2018 Hybrid fully loaded with everything but the kitchen sink I have done my homework at the auto show and definitely demand satisfaction!!!!!!!?????

Key recognition failure

Within the past two years of ownership the key recognition has become sporadic. It fails to recognize the key. You have to get out of the car with the key fob walk away come back and hope it starts. if it does not then you have to put the key in the door lock and unlock put your file back together and hope it starts. I've done my research and a lot of owners complain of the same issue and that the dealer has not been able to rectify the situation. It took me 30 minutes the other night to get this car to start. I have learned it's a brake sensor problem. They should think about doing a recall to fix this issue. That is my only complaint about this car. I gave it 2 stars because of the key fob issue described above.

This is the first Hyundai I have owned, the vehicle is very nice and I feel was a great value for all the features it has on it. I am normally a Chevy guy and bought the Hyundai for my son. I will definitely consider a Hyundai for my next vehicle

Other then my engine going up this was a great car to drive but Hyundai did come through and put a new engine in it and we have pass the car down to our daughter and she very happy with driving this car

Bad news

Beautiful looking car! Horrible made car!! Has had about 16 recalls. Totally unacceptable!! Told them for 2 years there was trouble with car stalling right in the middle of driving & when taking off from stop lights, very dangerous!! Engine finally blew up at 90,000 miles! They had my car for three months waiting to get a new engine Huge leaf spring on right front broke. Had to purchase new one & have a friend help install because the dealership wanted way to much to do it. They said they had never seen one break. Took a couple weeks just to get a new one in. I understand now why they wanted me to buy a paint job warranty when I bought the car. Within weeks of purchase I was getting paint chips. More than I had on my old 8 year old vehicle. I'm 60 years old so I'm not rough on my car, but within a couple years the seat materials starting wearing. The dealership said they usually didn't see that. I could probably go on all day. I'm just ready to get rid of this car

Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

I love my Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. It has great gas milage and it rides smooth. I hope to own it for a long time. I keep a car until it dies, I can see myself driving this car for a long time to come.

I love my Sonata easy handling.

If i decide to buy another car it will be a Sonata. Everyone seem to want the 2011 Sonata Limited. I do not drive a lot but, when i on the highway it is smooth sailing,the seats are comfortable and lots of trunk space.

Unfortunately, 2011 was not a good year for the Hyundai Sonata. Fortunately I have found Atlantic Hyundai, with exceptional staff and service representatives, who will now be taking care of my Sonata. I have spoken to owners of later models who have been totally satisfied with their vehicles.

Best car I’ve ever owned. It gets the best gas mileage and only issue I’ve had hyndaii took care of for free. It’s a joy to drive and I will buy a second in the very near future!!! Only wish the cd am/fm radio had been higher quality .

Excellent vehicle!

We have had our Sonata Hybrid for about 5 years now and are very pleased with it. We were hoping for a little more mpg but we do get high 30's for our everyday use. The car is very well equipped, sharp looking, comfortable seating and smooth, quiet ride. The only drawbacks of this hybrid are lack of power when you need it and considerable drop in mpg about 3-4 months a year when winter sets in. As we get closer to 100K miles, we are concerned about the hybrid battery but will probably learn from experience how long it will last as it is in brand new condition and we plan to keep driving it!

Since the day I bought it... I love it, don't matter the recalls I really love the car!!! is really comfortable, drive so smooth, I just replace the engine because of a recall and now there is no sound, they told me I have to treat my car like a new car... super happy!!!

Terrible car,even though brought it used,shouldn't have as many problems as I have had. It was a lemon.Man sold me this had to know car wasn't with $14,500. Would never buy again. Worst car ever. Brought it here

THIS HAS BEEN THE MOST TROUBLE FREE CAR THAT I HAVE EVER OWNED. eXCEPT FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, i HAVE ONLY HAD ONE SMALL PROBLEM ARISE THIS MONTH AND MY 10 YEAR WARRANTY COVERED IT. MY CAR IS APPROACHING ITS SEVENTH BIRTHDAY WITH ME AND HAS 77,000 MILES+-. IT HAS ALL OF THE BELLS AND WHISTLES OF A LUXURY CAR WITHOUT THE PROBLEMS AND PRICE TAG. THIS HAS BEEN MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH HYUNDAI BUT i DON'T THINK IT WILL BE MY LAST.
