N-Line is great, with some notable flaws

The Sonata N-Line is a great, sporty and luxurious car. It’s got a beautiful interior, sharp exterior, long warranty, lots of power, and some great advanced tech, both in safety and convenience. It’s one of those cars that’s sharp enough to make you look twice. But, with all that power comes the issue of road grip and power usability. With about 300hp, it’s one of the most powerful FWD cars available today, and in my opinion with the package it’s currently sold in, it can’t use most of that power. With the lack of an LSD or eLSD, it’ll screech the tires around nearly every corner you put the gas down for, or even in a straight line it’ll wheel hop into oblivion. It’s one of a few areas where this beautiful well-designed package falls significantly short from what Hyundai designed it to do. If this car had AWD, I would buy this car in a heartbeat instead of leasing (or even buy out the lease). But, with such bad grip and wheel hop issues, it’s the type of car that I will lease and return, in the search for another car with better grip. It’s a lot of fun, don’t get me wrong, but it’s almost comical to ‘burn out’ as often as you do in this car. The rough suspension doesn’t help either, when you hit larger pot holes it feels like you snapped the car in half. It’s a car I enjoy greatly but one I’d say to weigh the pros and cons on before buying it.

Get something else

Hyundai dealerships mark their cars up too much and don't know how to talk to customers. Paint has lots of surfaces scratches already and won't look good in a few years. Buy a fun hyundai like the N products. Rest of the cars aren't worth getting because they will mark up all of their cars even the cheapest models

2021 Sonata

This has been the best car buy that I have ever experienced. I had the opportunity to look around without being hassled. I test drove the car when I was ready and made a purchase. The 2021 Sonata offers a lot of features and it is easy to handle and drive. Additionally, it is great on gas is great during these high prices.

Three days after purchasing with 23 miles the car stall on the highway high oil consumption it’s has been back and forth at the dealership the whole first year of purchase engine replaced transmission and more yet we still have major issues and Hyundai is not wanting to honor it

Great car great features

Very nice car , fits 4 people comfortably , Great features even on base models , would like a bit more trunk space and ability to lock glove box , love keyless entry and that fact that the care can be monitored with the Bluelink .

The Sonata is a great car

The Sonata is a stylish, sleek, and comfortable vehicle. I recommend it to everyone who asks about it…and perhaps some who don’t! I think that this is my fourth or fifth Sonata so I’m pretty committed at this point. Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t screw it up.

Best performance bang for your buck

I have a 2021 Hyundai Sonata N Line. Car looks great and performs very well. The 8 speed dual clutch is great. Pickup on the highway is excellent. The interior is built well. Infotainment is easy to use and the Bose sound system is very good.

Very Happy with my Sonata

I've been a loyal Ford man for most of my life but when my 2014 Tauris was totaled, I discovered that Ford had stopped making the Taurus. I had already downsized from Crown Victoria to Taurus and didn't really want to downsize further. The Ford Fusion was my only option to stay with Ford. It was/is nearing the end of its life and besides, a chip shortage meant their inventory selection was not up to snuff. So we looked at all the comparable competition and settled on Hyundai. We bought the Sonata Limited and haven't looked back. I am totally blown away by the build quality, the tech (especially safety features), performance and economy.

Absolutely fantastic vehicle, this generation’s gto. Family car with a overpowered engine and big brakes. Big smiles all around. Seriously considered a genesis g70 but the 2.5t in the sonata was much more powerful than the 2.0t in the Genesis.

Not your average Sonata

I have the 2021 Hyundai Sonata N-Line, and I definitely do not regret purchasing this vehicle. I’ve owned the vehicle for 1 year, and i am not tired of it yet. It’s a blast to drive everyday, while maintaining great fuel economy.
