My Sonata Dents

My Sonata dents so easily, I drive basically every other week for around 8 hours+ and I had just purchased this vehicle from the dealership when I got out and noticed that there was already a dent on my door panel from an unknown source, not from a rock but there was no paint chip either, then on my next road trip I had a friend tell me to look at the hood of my "brand new" car that I had brought down, only to get out and see 4 big dents on the hood of my car, paint chip and other dents from rocks and sorts. I do not appreciate the build quality of this 23 thousand dollar purchase, it is an absolute sham. Work on your build quality when it comes to the exterior of your vehicles that hold the lives of your customers.

Sedans are not the best winter vehicle because of low ground clearance

This is my 2nd sonata and as a typical sedan it is a comfortable vehicle to drive. Not great in the snow due to low ground clearance. But overall, due to my experience with complete engine failure while driving this particular vehicle, I would definitely do your due diligence on considering which car is best suited for your needs. In the end, the fact that Hyundai offers the best overall warranty, it is definitely worth a chance.

My 2015 Sonata was GREAT in every way. The 2023 is only average.

The 2015 Sonata had shades on the back windows and storage pockets on the rear of BOTH front seats. The 2023 has NO shades and only 1 pocket. The dashboard is continually flashing alerts "Keep both hands on wheel", but I HAVE both hands on the wheel. Too many alerts. The 2023 has eliminated a blind spot that the 2015 had on the drivers' side when trying to merge left. That's good. Gas mileage is still good. Trunk room and rear seat space still adequate. The 2023 just doesn't have the attention to details of the 2015.

This car has been a lemon since the day I drove it off the lot. It has been unreliable and I am constantly fearful that it is going to breakdown down on me and put my life in jeopardy. I can’t wait to end my lease and get rid of this car.
