Too much tire noise. Angle of rear window hard to clean

Will probably be my last lease unless changes are made in the design a d better tires are on it. This was 6th hyundai lease.

Will NEVER buy another Hyundai vehicle

I had my Hyundai Sonata from just over 18 months and it had 11,200 miles on it when the transmission catastrophically failed. I told Hyundai America that I did not want a remanufactured transmission put in the car, but that's what was put in it. It is a well known fact that remanufactured transmissions rarely last for more than 12,000 miles. Then you add that, my daughter-in-law bought a 2023 Hyundai Sonata a week before I bought mine, and she doesn't trust it to go any distance at all. It spits, bucks, and misses constantly and has left her sit beside the road twice. The mechanics at the Hyundai dealership "can't" find the trouble and Hyundai tricked her into accepting a $600 check for her "inconvenience" that has left her unable to pursue a lemon law lawsuit. Going back to the transmission issue, my car was supposed to have a 10 year/100,000 mile warranty on the drivetrain and once the remanufactured transmission was put in it, the warranty dropped to 12 months/12,000 miles. I lost 89,000 miles/8 years of warranty on the transmission.

Car is great, until the battery needs replacing

After about a year, I've notice my car being completely dead in the garage. This has happened 4 times in almost 28 months of owning it. I bought a Sonata Limited brand new, and the battery and electrical system is constantly eating up the battery where the car COMPLETELY drains the battery. I expect more from a vehicle that i paid $40,000+ for.

Great car.

I would have given my Sonata a "5" rating but I am very disappointed in the computer aspects of this car. I have mentioned my problem every time I take my car into the dealership for maintenance. In fact, we had the same problem with my last Sonata. One problem is when I get into the car to drive it, I select my user name and it automatically takes the seat to my husband's setting. And this sometimes happens after I have started driving. That is just one example. No one can really tell me why it's doing what it's doing. And I know it's not me because it happens at the dealership and they can't figure it out either. If you want to know the particulars of the problem, contact the dealership or call me or my husband. I actually wish someone would call me.

It takes two months to get an appointment and service is poor

I made an appointment to fix the lag when applying the gas pedal. It was very noticeable each time I drove it. Two months later I got to drive one of the mechanics around who said he did notice it too. He wanted to drive it home so he could get a true idea of what’s going on. That would have been a 160 mile round trip! Why, if he already acknowledged the problem? He wrote that he found no problem. I took my car to a certified garage for an oil change, etc rather than wait two months for Hyundai. They said I had a small oil leak, two months later Hyundai said there was no leak, but there was a recall for something having to do with the fuel system. I thought they finally will address the problem. They would call when they got the parts to schedule an appointment. Meanwhile I replaced the air filter with one that was high performance which did help decrease the lagging. You guessed it, two months later, I took it in and found there was no part to change but the software was updated! I asked if this update was going to eliminate the lagging and was told no, they needed to add a sticker. I’m not sure what that meant but I’m very dissatisfied with the level of customer service.
