Very disatisfied

Purchased brand new and didn't notice on both sides of front bumper. Where it ends both sides of bumper sticks out. Service dept ordered a new bumper and told me they had to shift the radiator so the bumper sides would stay in the clips They did have to order a new bumper. Had to bring the car back cause they had to order a bumper and paint it. Came back number was not the same shad of red. Either come back another day or take it as is. I took it because I swore I would never go back. 4 days later, the bumper popped out again. I have bought Hyundai vehicles religiously. We are a 3 Hyundai vehicles family. I have under 25,000 miles on my Sonata. I am looking to get rid of my car and by from another car maker. Sorry but this car is not worth the money I am paying and the dealers service department should be overhauled. You sent me this email so I am responding. My friends see the bumper flaw and are in disbelief.

To many safety features interfere with driving. Won't buy again.

Safety features you can't turn off ruin an otherwise nice car. Won't buy Hyundai again.

Overall, pretty good.

Don’t care for all the messages in cluster area… annoying at times. Automatic braking is very harsh and jarring- seat belt hard to hook as so far back. Radio is nit upgraded and has low quality sound. Nice suspension and lots of info st your fingertips.

Such a beautiful vehicle

What can I say? I drove my dad’s 2010 Hyundai Sonata for roughly 6 years before I upgraded to a 2024, in Ultimate Red. I love this car. I feel like a futuristic badass surfing through the space time continuum in this car. It’s everything and more I could’ve wanted from a car. I use it at a minimum of 5 days a week in a typical week for work. Never had an issue, always runs smooth. I appreciate the high tech features I’m not used to such as lane keeping. It’s a lovely car that’s done right by me for over a year and hopefully many many more to come! I intend to keep this car until it’s non functional.

2024 Sonata happy owner

I have been very pleased with my decision to purchase a Hyundai Sonata. I purchased the vehicle in March of 2025. Great gas mileage on the highway especially and the vehicle is loaded with great features. Hyundai has also been helpful sending me information about the features and how to use them. Great support from the dealership to the manufacturer.

easy rider

Beginning with Chad Taylor as our salesperson to the end with the Service team, we are very happy with the purchase. The vehicle drives well and it is excellent on gas. It has some nice features, i.e. heated seats, assistance driving, large truck space. There is plenty of leg room in the front and back seating areas. It is also very stylish.

Overall, Fun Car to Drive!

Overall, I recommend this car. There are numerous positives with a few negatives. I'll begin with the negatives as I like to end on a positive note. First, the length of the seat could be longer to be more comfortable. Second, there is a slight delay when I press the gas. Now for the positives. First, this car is a lot of FUN car to drive! Second, it has a good pick-up speed. (Zero to 60) Third, it looks sporty with 4 doors. Fourth, I love all of the cup holders in the front. Fifth, the large center console. Sixth, the phone charger and space next to it. And, finally, I like having the phone holder for guests in my car or if I don't need to charge my phone. I hope this review has been helpful!

This is my second sonata. I enjoy the vehicle. Quiet ride.

Excellent. Second Sonata with light colored seats. Fabric options might include something darker and less likely to show stains.

Pretty Good Car for the Money

The Sonata is a good car. In a world were crossovers and SUVs have all but taken over the affordable car market, Hyundai's resistance to this change by keeping an automotive staple--the mid-sized sedan--is a welcome addition to the market. The Sonata's size, comfort, and features make it ideal for a 4-5 person family, or even a single person or couple with a lot to transport without needing to upgrade to an unruly, unsafe, and gas guzzling SUV. It features ample trunk space, a well-performing engine, fuel efficiency (especially once broken in), and style without breaking the bank. Having said all that though, the car isn't perfect. The drive-by-wire system can take a while to get used to. Not so much the switching of gears, but the fact that the steering wheel isn't connected to the wheels of the car. This makes the Sonata's steering unnaturally light. It is slightly heavier in Sport mode, but for those of us who grew up with power steering, it still feels a little off. More resistance would be appreciated. Further, the driver's aides seem to be a touch too sensitive. A tad too worrisome. That's not to say that you can't override them if you want, but it can feel odd to have the car turn itself before you feel the car should be steered. I've also noticed that sometimes the car lurches when cold. I don't know if this is the automatic transmission receiving conflicting signals from the gas pedal, but it is worrying when it happens, and the only way to prevent it seems to be hard acceleration, which is another I don't like about it. It takes quite a hard press of the gas to actually get it moving. My old car, a BMW 328i, needed very little input from the gas to get going, even in Eco Pro mode. And speaking of modes, the car's Sport mode seems to hang onto gears for too long when accelerating. I realize the Sonata isn't a performance vehicle, some more fine tuning of how the engine performs would be appreciated. I know it seems like I have more negative than positive things to say about Sonata, but that's only because I'm coming from a performance vehicle to a more everyday driver. Overall, I like the Sonata and would recommend it. But there is definitely room for improvement.
