My 4th & Last Sonata

I'm 71 now and don't need a special car to impress anyone - except myself. I finally got the dark blue car that I wanted and why is it my last - I am hoping this car will last like my other Sonatas and I will not be driving after she's gone. She's fun to drive and wants to go fast. It's quiet except for my radio blasting inside.

The DAW needs to have an option to disable it.

The DAW gives way too many false alerts and way too often. Had I known there was no way to disable it. I would not have purchased it again.

Stylish car with advanced features

I am happy with the cars looks exterior and interior. The driving is smooth. My only concern is the stated MPG which clearly is 6-7 mpg less for city and highway. I am a smooth driver so that wouldn't be a reason for that. I am aware there are some recomendations to “break-in” the car which is at 3k miles before that MPG stabilizes so Im hoping that will eventually happen.

Great Car, Terrible Gas

I was in a total loss accident and looking for a new car. I was given a Hyundai Sonata as my rental car and I absolutely loved it.. I thought at the time, “I could see myself in this car, the only thing it was missing was a sunroof.” I previously had a Kia K5 and wanted another -unless I could find a car that made me turn my head. When at the Hyundai dealership, I expressed these wants and my sales woman recommended the Sonata N-Line, which is the car I currently own. It had every feature I wanted that the K5 had and I was excited to drive away in it. After owning the car for a week, the ONLY complaint I have until this day is that the gas on the N-Line is in no comparison to the K5 OR the regular Sonata. It drinks the gas at unprecedented rates and barely fills up to 380 miles most days, something I wish I would’ve known before purchasing -especially with the frequent traveling I do and the way gas prices are looking. My K5 filled to over 420 miles -sometimes 440 plus, so it took me a long ways. But besides the gas issue, the car reminds me of my K5 and is absolutely an eye catcher. I also wish the auto/eco mode at a red light was something I could turn off. It’s minor, but I don’t like it. I’d also extend the light bar in the car to the passenger side. It’s only of my favorite features of the car, so I’m wanting more!!

2nd Hyundai Experience

Right off the bat, the factory weights were wrong and off by about 2oz each wheel (All 4 wheels.) The transmission is jerky, especially of stops, or stoplights. It’s a stiff ride and the tires they use are mid range soft tires so you feel everything in the road on top of being 18” wheels. The size is nice, but truthfully the trunk is the same size as the Elantra so imo if you’re getting a car for trunk space just go wit the cheaper sedan.
