Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Blue
I bought my Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Blue in December 2024. It is now January 2026. I have had over a dozen (12) visits back to the dealership and, unfortunately, more than half of them were due to issues. Honestly, nothing has ever been wrong with the vehicle. I drive over 4 hours a day. I have only ever had 1 issue - intermittently all of the dashboard lights will illuminate and my car battery will eventually die if I do not pull over and power cycle multiple times until I can ensure the car will successfully switch and maintain EV mode. I know it has to be tied to a glitch - and I’ve brought it back countless times for the same issue and have never found a solution - yet at least. What’s even more odd is the more I looked into it - the more this occurred and not only in the Hybrid community. With that issue addressed - I really do love my Tucson. I am in the Army and drive from Panama City to Alabama everyday - so over 4 hour commuting. This vehicle has been comfortable, reliable, and an overall great experience despite feeling a bit unsafe due to the battery issues. I am a bit concerned with bringing my children in this vehicle but only due to the battery issues. I don’t want to get stuck in traffic with my 2 year old in the back seat in inclement weather.
