Very good but not great

Stars being whole or nothing is a poor way to rate anything, you are spreading results 20 points apart so 4 stars represent 80%, where 4 1/2 would be 90%, what car should get 5 stars, none I’m afraid. I Like a lot about this car but stability in a turn like exiting or entering a parkway is not great at speeds exceeding 35 mph. Not having folding side view mirrors or heated steering wheel in a car of this class is very disappointing. The media screens capabilities & performance also inferior to other comparable manufactures.

Hybrid Tucson

I am enjoying my hybrid Tucson very much. The only thing I am extremely frustrated about is the fact that the car “dies” if it’s not started after 4 days. I even started my car remotely while traveling (which worked) and then 4 days later, I tried again and it would not connect and said I had to use the key. I came home to a “dead” car. Luckily this time, I was able to easily remove the cover on the door handle to access the key entry. Usually it doesn’t come off easily. It’s great that I can just push a button to reset the car but I did not know about this “feature” when I got the car and apparently there’s nothing Hyundai can do about it (except not have this feature in the 2025…) I plan to discuss this again with the dealership.

MPG is a joke

Our vehicle is getting 28-31 MPG and should be getting at least 38 MPG according to the window sticker.

The Tucson hybrid offers many safety features ranking it as the safest SUV by many authorities it is comfortable to drive, has many luxury features, and has proven to be a safe driving vehicle.

Car is great. Hyundai, my name is J. B. not B. J. Please correct it!

My 2024 Hyundai Tucson Blue has been trouble free. According to the dash we average 36 mpg, and the engine/motor gives enough power for all situations. The car handles great, and it tackles icy roads without issue. The seats are comfortable and the controls are easy to use if you have a copilot onboard to deal with the touch screen. It is also an attractive vehicle. The engine has a rattle when using regular gas (think early 1970's) but using mid-grade gas stops the sound. We live in Pennsylvania, a state with roads that aren't even on maps. Roads that are so remote you often don't have cell service. Roads where, if you shred a tire an inflation kit is less than worthless. There is room for a spare in the back; we bought one and it fit perfectly. This is a big oversight. In spite of the shortcomings, we would buy it again. It's that good.

Not getting the mileage promised

The car is comfortable and quiet, but I am not getting the 38 mpg promised. I was getting decent mileage (around 35 mpg overall) but had a problem with the transmission, which was replaced under warranty. However, since the new transmission was installed, my average mileage has gone to below 30 mpg.
