A great car

I bought this car to replace a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee - the Tucson is a little smaller but makes up with other attributes. The gas milage is great averages 35mpg in mostly city driving. I love the adaptive cruise control. On long trips i can set it and no worry about it until I reach my destination. If the traffic picks up the car slows down to keep the set spacing that I chose. The hands free lift gate is a good addition although maybe give a longer time before it opens. I have been doing work outside and I get near the car and the liftgate wants to open. My only issue is the weird shaped door panels that make it difficult to add body molding.

Love the vehicle, however Hyundai is Lacking customer service support

We purchased the prepaid service for our vehicle when we bought it having had that through another company in the past and found it quite beneficial. It does not appear that the package with Hyundai is as inclusive as with our prior vehicle and unfortunately, after several attempts to reach customer service and being told that someone would call back, we have yet to hear anything from anyone. The lack of response to our queries has been extremely disappointing. This is the first negative experience we’ve had with owning the vehicle for a year and a half..

Snow driving and gas mileage in highway

Not really got on snow even with the snow moth and all wheel drive lock.in the city it gets good gas mileage but in the highway it uses the same amount of gas and none E 4 cylinder cars

Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited

An absolutely top notch vehicle, with so many well thought out features, beautiful styling and a more than competitive price. Only downside was that dealer could only offer three or four color choices. The 1.6 L turbo engine is a joy to drive and gives you immediate additional power when you need it, particularly in Sport Mode !! All in all, a very well thought out vehicle.

Overall Good Car

Comfortable and quiet ride. Handles good and looks good. Can’t use it to jump another vehicle, if you don’t already know. Back hatch also started rattling a little. No wireless CarPlay if you have navigation. Overall, my wife and I like the car. She uses it to commute to work. Great gas mileage in town and on backroads. Only mid 20’s, 24-27, mpg on the highways. The reverse noise also needs to go. It makes noise, even when EV mode, we don’t need beeping. My neighbors can hear it from inside their houses with the doors and windows closed.

Gets the job done, but not a premium vehicle

Overall it drives fine, but tech is glitchy and things fall apart easily. Bought a higher end model but still feels cheaper than other brands in the same class (Toyota, Subaru).

great small SUV

overall I love my Tuscon. The hybrid aspect is amazing. I wish I could have afforded a slightly higher model, but truly like my car. In ECO mode I will admit as a previous manual transmission driver, it takes a little too long to changes out of some lower gears. Other than that I find little fault.

Don't believe the hype

I used to be a Hyundai fan but, this car changed it for me. The features do not work as advertised. At best they are inconsistent and at worst they are dangerous. The emergency braking/sensor/shifting function actually caused an accident. What is more dangerous than that? All the little annoyances have added up, too. Doesn't get the gas mileage it advertises, doesn't heat up quickly, doesn't stay warm, doesn't lock automatically, ports don't always function, pairing is inconsistent, trunk won't always close, key fob issues that have caused the engine to shut down. Almost too many irritating qualities about this car to list.

The car is great except the fuel guage is not working. Exactly what fuse to I change to try to fix it prior to bringing the vehicle in.

Overall I am satisfied with the vehicle. Mileage is good. Handles well in all weather conditions. Comfortable and well designed. My biggest concern is the random activation of the emergency break when traveling over 50mph.
