2024 Tucson "Blue" hybrid

The 2024 Tucson "Blue" hybrid is a decently well-equipped vehicle. However, the driver's seat needs major improvement in its padding, as the heated seat support rail running up the left side of the back pushes into my back. I have had to purchase an aftermarket pad to enable a more comfortable driving experience.

Very nice car, I like its size and design.

Overall I am very happy with the hybrid Tuscon. I wish I had held out however for the top of the line model rather than buying the midlevel that was available on the lot, but I needed a car right away and couldn't wait. What I like: handles very well in the snow. I average about 36 mpg around town, my friend has a RAV that gets >40, so I wish I had that. I also wish it told me if a stationary object is behind or infront of me, not just motion. Also wish it had a heated steering wheel, probably all availabe in the top of the line model. The seat is not as comfortable as I would like, and I do get hip pain on extended drives.

Tucson Hybrid is a fabulous machine

The tucson hybrid is reliable, responsive and efficient. the three year maintenance policy is wonderful. gas mileage is between 3 and 36 miles per gallon. It is beautifully engineered with great responsiveness on the road.

Tucson Hybrid

I leased this vehicle for a term of 36 months. The 2024 Tucson Hybrid is an very good to excellent performing vehicle. The only disappointment was the absence of a spare tire of any kind. I used the tire inflation kit within the first month I had it. I actually leased it. When I asked if I could purchase a rim and tire at the dealership, I was told they are not in stock and that it would take approximately 2 weeks to get them. A replacement inflation kit also had to be ordered. I ordered a tire and rim from a company on the East Coast for nearly $ 900 to use as a spare tire. It is unreasonable to not have a spare tire. Without a spare tire, a flat tire could curtail use of the vehicle for probably 2 weeks. Unfortunately, there is no adequate spare tire compartment in the trunk or under it. Thus trunk space is now limited because of the mounted spare tire, but I feel secure having it, and the remaining trunk space is adequate for most cargos. Future modifications of this excellent vehicle should include a full size spare tire compartment, even if a spare tire and rim is not sold with the vehicle as standard equipment or as an option.

It’s a lemon!

My car was in the shop five or six times the first couple months I owned it. I had a 2012 Hyundai Tucson Limited that I loved drove for over 10 years with no major problems. But this new 2024 is a lemon there were problems with the air conditioner. There’s still problems with the air conditioner or should I say the fan. It just randomlyresets itself at whatever speed it wants. Battery dead for no reason. Gear shifting problems car shuts off randomly when you’re driving. I brought all this up to Hyundai.
