Overall am satisfied

I do really like this car. There are a couple aspects that I am disappointed in. One of the main reasons I purchased this car was because of the warranty and claimed included service for the first couple years. I haven’t even had the car a year and I’ve already had to pay for things that I was told would be covered (like oil changes and routine maintenance checks). I have also had some issues with some of the tech aspects. Phone charging port only works sometimes. Have been noticing that the EV component doesn’t always kick in to charge the battery when I’m driving. I think there’s just too much going on and I personally don’t need all these extra gadgets (especially when they don’t work).

only 1 thing i don't like is that no matter how u pre-start the vehicle u have NO IDEA it's running. stupid design imo. lites ON would be the option...if the lites are on - the car is running.

Suggestions

I have two suggestions: The back seat seatbelts are very difficult to work for an elderly person. The buckle part needs to be on a solid shaft, not one that flips around, and perhaps an inch higher. I have had people spend 5 minutes trying to get it buckled only to give up in disgust. The second item is the number of beeps it takes to open the hatch - it opens at four, which for elderly again is too few - it often opens when we don't want it to do so. Can it be programmed to wait to 5 or 6?

Poor gas mileage in winter months

While this vehicle has many nice features, the gas mileage is terrible in the winter months. I enjoy 37-40 mpg in the summer months, but as soon as the temperatures dip, my mpg drops to around 24, which is not even as good as my previous non-hybrid SUV. In a warm climate, this vehicle might be really great, but if you live in a colder area, expect poor gas mileage at least half the year.

Reverse sound is bad

Great car but the back up beeping is way way too loud. Should just have regular VESS noise and not a beep like other EVs.

2024 Tucson Hybrid,Black in color

This is a vehicle that has given the highest gas rating we have ever gotten, It is excellent for my wife shopping needs. The Tucson has given no issues or problems. It has been very comfortable for back seat passengers. and the space behind the back seat has been excellent. I'm am not too fond of the push button transmission, tho my wife likes it very much and she is the main driver. So far it has been everything I bought it for, Tho I have had very good luck with all my Hyundai products. The first being a 2001 Sonata.
