Great design, great ride, issues with build quality

Yes, there are issues with the build quality but I’m keeping it for now because we really enjoy driving this car. 2025 Tucson hybrid. Bought new. Currently has 19 k miles. We had a serious problem with the forward collision avoidance system. Phantom breaking. Recent recall installed new software and it seems to have fixed the problem. How did this model leave the factory with this problem? Obviously rushed to the showroom floor. Now our infotainment screen goes blank periodically. Another recall for this issue. Planning to get it fixed next week. Not sure if this is software or hardware. Regardless, we will keep this car for the near term. It is very comfortable, and goes what I need it to do . But if any other serious issues crop up, I’ll have to get rid of this car. I need something reliable for my wife and young kids to drive around in a big city.

Tucson is Average to Below Average

The computerized controls are cumbersome and hard to follow. The tailgate opens on its own if I walk to close to it with the fob in my pocket. For the questions below you do not state which number is more positive. So I presumed that ten was the best rating and 1 the lowest.

Why we love our Hyundai Tucson Hybrid.

We love the vehicle, it is comfortable to ride in, quiet inside, smooth ride and get 35 mpg. Especially love the heads up display. We may upgrade to the 2027 Santa Fe Caligraphy because we need a 6 passenger vehicle when our son, daughter in-law and grand kids visit.

Great Dependable and Comfortable Car

This is my 2nd Hyundai (we've had 5 in the family). It's probably the most comfortable and quiet car I have ever driven. That's coming from a 23year European auto mechanic and instructor (BMW)...ASE Master certified/BMW Master certified. Had a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport (purchased new in Calif.) and decided to trade it in and purchased the 2025 Hybrid. Amazing vehicle...no regrets!

Best car, feel safe and it always looks classy!

I had a Tucson and after a year traded it is for the Hybrid version. This car is amazing! Handles very well in winter weather. I have always driven with studded tires. Since having a Tucson I no longer need them.

Excellent vehicle met all expectations

My Tucson Hybrid is the best hybrid that I've owned. Each hybrid from a Sonata, through an Ioniq, and now my Tucson improved over the previous hybrid.

Roy's Tucson

I enjoy everything about my Tucson, except the indicators on the lower panel (where the A/C, heated steering wheel, heated seat, etc. switches are located) are IMPOSSIBLE to tell if the are on or off during daylight. If a switch is pressed you can only guess if it has turned on. A VERY POOR design feature from your design team.

Pretty good

Car does a lot of things very well. The ride is smooth and steering is responsive. Only two negatives, when I put sunglasses on the cruise disconnects and the shifting from battery to gas and gas to battery is rough with unnecessary reving.
