Very good but not quite perfect

The 2025 Tucson Hybrid checked almost all of my "boxes" when shopping for a new car and was my final choice over several similar competitors in the class. Most of my expectations were met, although I am a little disappointed with the suspension, which is stiffer and less forgiving on rough road surfaces than I expected. I also thought the optional Bose audio system would be better in terms of available sound adjustments and especially bass power, which is often lacking on certain music sources and can't be increased enough in my opinion.

Wonderful Vehicle, with a few significant nits.

Great fit for my needs, but quite a few irritants. I had a 2011 Hyundai Sonata that didn’t have any of the bell and whistles this vehicle has, but it made a heck of a lot more sense in terms of the controls. A lot less motions to control things. 1) the display for climate controls is clunky at best. The lights next to the A/C for instance can’t be seen in daylight. Have tried to increase brightness but no use 2) Would have preferred the kick under the rear door to make it work. The setting of getting close to vehicle and automatically have it open, when you didn’t need it is a problem. 3) Too many steps to make effective use of the built in navigation for storing locations. 4) Not getting the mileage expected even though have tried to drive it “gently” to extend range. That’s the reason I bought the vehicle is the expected range I needed before fill ups. 5) The added rugs for the driver’s side next to the gas peddle leave a space/gap, that is very annoying as your heel can slip down into that area. I constantly have to adjust my foot to make sure it doesn’t slip. 6) on the positive side it feels like a solid vehicle and drives well. 7) Heads up display works pretty good, but tough to see in certain lighting situations, but it shows up elsewhere so just adjust accordingly.

Absolutely love everything about it!

Love it! Drove to Ca and on the way back we ran out of gas. It flawlessly switched to the battery. We were nervous first timers with a hybrid but it got us where we needed to be.

DON'T LIKE STEERING WHEEL CAMERA.

Dislike steering wheel camera. Like holding at 12 oclock position. When i do this, it shuts off cruise..Very dangerous on a super highway.

I am enjoying the hybrid technology!

I love my Tucson Hybrid. I haven't even used all of the features yet. My favorite is the savings on gas, the panoramic roof, flat phone charging port on the console and the comfort of the seats. The ability to run it from the myHyundai app is a big plus.
