Outstanding Vehicle

After driving our 2025 Tucson Hybrid for the past few months we are excited to share that this is one of the better vehicles we've owned. Really good gas mileage, nice technology and a comfortable ride.

Great vehicle I love it but have a few complaints. Battery, fuel mileage, and anti collision system faults.

2025 Tucson Hybard SUV

Over all the SUV is fine. Have two negative points. The cruse control shuts off if you wear sun glasses which most people do in Florida. It also shuts off if you put hour hands on top of the steatring wheel. The limited should have folding mirrors it does not.

Generally great car

Really enjoy the car. However engine is occasionally rumbling. Also, auto-brake is kind of overkill. Can't be changed. I would like to be able to change the braking to a warning. We have an island down the middle of our street. When backing out of my driveway, the brakes sometimes slam on when a car is passing on the other side of the island.

Tuscon HEV. Poor Fuel Economy for a Hybrid

Had vehicle for about 5 months and 4,000 miles. Love some of the features but.... - One of my primary goal was fuel economy, and this vehicle does not deliver. Sticker was 35 city, 35 highway. Reality is 30.5 city and about 29 highway. - Hyundai really has a problem servicing and providing service parts for their vehicles. Had intermittent problem with HUD and dash panel going out. 3 attempts to fix and 26 total days (mostly waiting for Hyundai to provide parts) to fix vehicle.

2025 Review

VERY, VERY, VERY UNHAPPY THERE IS NO DONUT SPARE TIRE. Not happy with selector switch for getting into gear. Not happy with always having to touch screen to have channel selection appear. Not happy with always having to change driving mode from ECO to Normal every time vehicle is turned on. Not happy with radio volume not increasing as speed is increased. Not happy with cabin noise around windows while vehicle is in gear.

I do not like this vehicle

There are many flaws with this vehicle such as lack of foot heater when defrost is on, constant fogging up the windows, have to wipe them down everyday, feels like it’s all over the road, mirrors are lined up to my eyesight so I’m blinded by car lights at night, steering wheel blocks important parts of the dash, radio is possessed, when I use my wiper fluid, the radio cuts out, one time it played static and would not stop even with the car off, had to pull the fuse to make it stop. Heater is terrible, drivers side takes forever to warm up but everyone else in car is warm.

Close but not perfect

We have 4000 miles on so far. We like the all wheel drive. Comfort is good as I am 6’3’ tall. We love the back storage. We are not happy with the fuel mileage. My previous car was a Sonata Hybrid and got around 40 MPG. This vehicle is rated at 35 combined MPG. My best so far is 28MPG. Far below advertised.

2025 Tuscon Hybrid - 6 mo in

Very good car overall, good to great mpg, nice acceleration and performance. Nice looking display. Lots of new modern features but also needs some revisions to become an even better vehicle. Has some querks too that take time to get used to.

Pleased with my Tucson but underwhelmed by its driving in snow with the all weather tires that came with it. It gets stuck easily and spins in 3” of snow

Scared to drive my own vehicle.

Overall the vehicle is very sound and good value. The features are very comparable to the luxury cars with all the high tech features. The only problem I have had with the car is the collision safety feature. mine is hyper sensitive and has slammed the breaks on twice with no warning. the sudden stop was like hitting a wall and gave me a whiplash neck. I have had to be seen multiple times by several doctors to treat my neck. every time i get in my car I disable the collision safety feature so it doesn't happen again. I am just thankful no one rear ended me when my car slammed on the breaks.
