My Hyundai Tucson Limited

I love this vehicle! I wish the mileage was a little better on highway but does perform good in congested traffic. I hear rattling from the rear end and is probably loose plastic pieces held together by plastic nut and bolt which are impossible to tighten. My dealership can’t hear anything of course. The feature set of the car is amazing. The ‘maybe it’s time to take a break’ is very annoying. Sometimes the menu screen is hard to get back to the setup screen when his and her keys are in car at same time. Pushing the Home Screen button just takes you back to the original point of confusion.

Economical, but a downgrade

Overall, I'm happy with the hybrid capabilities, but that is where the excitement ends. I've owned 5 Hyundai Santa Fes and although the Tucson is just one model down it feels like a complete downgrade. The safety features are questionable, causing issues rather than avoiding them. I rushed into my lease and after just a few months, I'm regretting my decision.

Fun, Economical, Stylish and Safe

A year and a few months later I am still pleased with my purchase. I have about 8700 miles total. One oil change and still averaging 35mpg overall. Fit Feel and Finish are top notch . I am 6' tall and comfortable in front and back. Great Cabin and finishes. Corrects all my mistakes on the road with its safety suite of lifesavers!

I been Toyota owner for a long time. The price keep increasing on them. I spoke to my friends who own Hyundai and spoke highly of them. I can honestly say the Hyundai as more than my RAV 4. I love it.

tech distracting, turn signal camera worthless can't see SW in way

Wish this came with a hitch. The camera on the steering wheel sucks because when I am driving long distances, my steering has to be modified so as to keep the machine from reprimanding me about having my hands on the wheel and it blocks my eyes so I get another reprimand to keep my eyes on the road. Too much big brother in the cockpit if you know what I mean and it causes distractions rather than helping.

Hybrid doesn't seem ready for prime time

I originally bought a Tuscon hybrid in September 2025, I had it 3 days before it popped up with a hybrid drive error and refused to go into gear. It was towed to the dealership where they held it for 2 weeks before telling us to come pick out a new vehicle and they'd swap it out. So, we took the new vehicle and drove it until mid January, about 7,500 miles, before the same error occurred and had to be towed to the dealership. We are awaiting information on the problem and repair time.

My Annual Review of my Tucson Hybrid

It has been very good except for the frightening brake failure experience it reported when I started the car when it was not even a few thousand miles old. But they fixed it correctly and I have no issues. The Hyundai app and the vehicle report different miles for the servicing and it has been impossible to get that fixed and it annoyingly send wrong service setup requests and also shows up on the vehicle gauges. I could not get it fixed since they kept sending me across different Hyundai divisions and nobody cared to help fix it seriously. It does has poor mileage for a hybrid vehicle.
