I wish basics worked

The ride is comfortable. I've never reached the average 35mpg that the sticker said. The rear cup holders do not hold anything other than a disposable plastic bottle of water, no recycling or reusing anything to drink out of with this car. The communication system works when it wants and for how long it wants. Maps can jump from your current directions to one you used long ago. The phone jumps from the car speakers to the phone and back and forth.

Too many "safety" features.

Love the car! It drives great! But, all the safety features that can't be turned off are terrible. Safety features beyond the basics should have a way to disable if not legally required. The main offender is the beeping and pop up that happens when it "thinks" you are sleepy. It becomes incredibly annoying on longer trips, and there is no way to disable it! Fix these dumb unnecessary "features" and make it where you can disable them please!

Super Car with some Quirks

The car is comfortable to ride in and easy to drive. Great visibility. It has many high-tech feature that are actually very useful, but they misbehave on occasion. Typically a restart will fix almost any problem. Transmission can move too abruptly into gear every so often. Dealer can not reproduce issue.

All good except cruise control a bit rough

Compared to my Camry, the cruise control is not nearly as intelligent or as smooth. Even when in Eco mode, resuming happens abruptly, rather than gently and slowly, thereby saving fuel.

Great car with too many nanny features.

This is a good car that would me much more enjoyable if not for some of the, quote, un-quote, "safety features" - like the one that comes on and flashes "consider taking a coffee break". I am a very alert driver and why this annoying nudge continues I do not know.

Very Pleased

Purchased in November. I have driven it about 2000 miles in four months, all city driving. Gas mileage is about 39 mpg. It's a very quiet and smooth ride. It handles corners well. I purchased the Select model and I love all the features.

Love it except for

The only thing I don’t like is the control panel area for the fan. Temp etc very hard to see the lights and can’t hardly see the display at all when the sun hits it. Not a good design for that

Great car - unfortunate key/battery choices

We love the drive, features, etc. But the car has died on us twice, due to battery drain. Design choices (small Li battery instead of a large 12V), many electrical systems that can cause drain with the vehicle off, and no power tracking within the vehicle. But the worst part is that our 2022 Tucson had mechanical keys buried inside each fob. For 2025, this got removed, so you don't have a necessary key with you, should the 12V battery die.

Active air flap system needs better protection

With less tan 3,000 miles on the car I incurred a $2,400 charge to replace the active air flap system and related bracket. This was caused by a rock getting lodged into the system. Since system is exposed to the elements in the front bumper, it should be protected so rocks can not damage it so easily.

During direct sunlight, the windshield is full of crystalizing. When no sun, the windshield is very clear.
