New Hyundai Tucson Hybrid

A new car after 10 years is a nice treat. My new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid is a really nice experience. Comfortable, stylish and very good on fuel. Being a seniors, the technology is a challenge however I am dealing with it and plenty of online tutorials to help.

Good mileage and acceleration

This small SUV gets 40+ MPG which I think is great and it accelerates very well if I need to merge into traffic

Exceeds my expectations

For a $35K car, my 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Blue drives like a dream. Great mileage. Not a single repair issue in the first 3600 miles. No complaints as this car serves the purpose. I didn't think I'd like it more than my 2025 $43K Honda CRV Hybrid Touring, but I do.

This was the worst vehicle I have ever owned out of the 13 cars I’ve owned in my lifetime. I bought it with around 23 miles on it and it did not work past two months.

Good Features, but Hybrid Performance Falls Short

The car offers a solid set of features and a generally comfortable driving experience, which makes it appealing at first glance. However, the hybrid model does not seem to deliver the expected benefits. It does not rely significantly on the battery, which results in mileage that isn’t much better than a regular gas vehicle. This defeats the main purpose of choosing a hybrid. In addition, there are noticeable issues with the interior build quality. Some components inside the car feel loose, which takes away from the overall sense of durability and refinement. While the car has potential, improvements in hybrid efficiency and interior quality would make a significant difference.
