Hyundai Tucson Hybrid is a Joy to Own

We have had this vehicle for almost 5 months and to date it has been a complete joy. Quiet, comfortable and roomy, we like the new look especially as it compares to the 2025 Sportage which we also were considering.

Awesome car

This is the quietest car we’ve ever owned. When you have hearing problems that is huge. Also love how rarely we have to fill it up with gas. It’s our first hybrid and we will never go back. Awesome car at a great price. It’s our 3rd Hyundai and we will stay with them in the future

Not my cup of tea

My wife picked out this vehicle for her daily driver and unfortunately I got stuck with it as my daily driver. I’m not a fan whatsoever. I don’t find it very comfortable. Not a fan of not being able to turn off the warning that says “consider taking a break” and dings without turning off other warnings. Not quiet with a significant amount of road noise. The hybrid hum as I call it, especially while backing, is super annoying. The big screen is nice for navigating/carplay/etc but you can’t see what’s playing on sxm radio while using navigation apps on CarPlay. Thank goodness it has adaptive cruise control. To be fair, the car was never intended to be my ride and my wife still likes the car but definitely not in my top 5 vehicles I’ve owned.

The only thing I don’t like is it’s hard to adjust the air flow. It’s all on the lower console and hard to see the lights.

SUV that Will put a Comfortable ride smile on your face

Most small SUVs have a very stiff ride, but the Tucson as one of the best rides I’ve ever had in a car. The Tucson hybrid gets a consistent 36 to 38 miles per gallon and the inside ride is very quiet.

Freat car

I love the car. Very comfortable and loaded with safety features. The only complaint is that it would be good to have a setting where the vehicle locks automatically when you step away (like my Honda CRV had). Holding onto the door handle locks it, but often requires me to change grips or let go and grab again. Also, I wish the car had a built in sunglass holder. These are minor complaints

We love our Tucson Hybrid! The ride is so stable and smooth. The ride is so quiet. I really like the get up and go that the hybrid provides. My wife feels like the Tucson Hybrid drives itself!

My new Tucson hybrid

I have now owned my Tucson hybrid for 4 months. It still makes me smile to drive. It has great acceleration and I like the fuel economy. I usually drive about 8,000 miles a year but I have already driven 6,000. My friends comment on the performance of the Tucson.
