Features get in the way of safe driving.

The sensor used to monitor your eyes while using assistive cruise control is too sensitive. If wearing dark sunglasses or you put your arm on the wheel in a space that covers the sensor, it will turn itself off. I’ve complained many times about this as I find it to be extremely unsafe and could cause an accident. The only response I have gotten is to not wear sunglasses or that maybe I should buy a Toyota (told to me by Anaheim Hyundai).

Decent value for the money.

OK for the money. Acceleration is slow as transmission is balky. Sometimes it is stuck in N, need to turn off engine in the middle of maneuvering. Forget preferences, need to set them again once every few weeks

Love my Hyundai hybrid

Drove from Chicagoland to Fort Meyers Florida to Gatlinberg Tennessee and back in total comfort for the both of us using less than $200.in gas .This was in November 2025.Now with gas prices at $5.a gallon,it cost between $35-40 a fill up every 450 miles.

Happy with the vehicle

One suggestion. Have the engineers figure out how to stop the eye on the road warning from pop up all the time when I am driving while wearing sun glasses. Annoying.

Hyundai Tucson

Paint peeling on insignia concerns me. I expected better gas mileage with a hybrid vehicle. Updates have messed up my dash settings and my Sirius XM connection.

My Tuscan Hybride

I like the car. Safety features are overall good. Hard to figure out how to adjust them though. Gas mileage not as good as I had with my Toyota.

This is a fabulous car that I truly love. Best new car of many

I absolutely love this vehicle. The ride is outstanding compared to a RAV4. The big difference between the two was how quiet the Tucson is. The car is a delight to drive and I love the turbo, which is sometimes needed to get out of certain situations. The sound system is great and the ride in this car is just delightful. After driving it for a continuous six hours, I found that I was not as worn out as I have been with other cars.
