i love it but...

looks great, drives nice, lots of nice features except for one annoying thing: you cannot turn off the "Consider Taking a Break" thing that pops up on your instrument panel randomly- and I mean random, sometimes 5 minutes after I start driving, sometimes not the whole 8 hours I just drove; but it is very annoying and worst part is you CANNOT turn it off- I have emailed Hyundai multiple times and talked to my dealer, you, as the owner, driver cannot turn it off, it will take an update from a software engineer and Hyundai doesn't seem to care that it bugs us- not just me, lots of posts on various socials about it; it that won't annoy you like it does me, this is a good car to get- especially the hybrid, gets about 39 mpg; and speaking of feature too much stuff, it's like trying to drive the a space ship, trying to figure out how to do things

Would buy it again

I really like my Tuscon Hybrid. So quiet, smooth ride, great gas mileage. Amazing driver assist if you want to take advantage of them all. This is out third Hyundai purchase, so we really appreciate this vehicle for its reliability , warranty and value.

100% Pleased with our purchase

I was Honda from about '74 until '06, then Mazda so the bar was set high. Our Tucson Hybrid—has been fantastic. I really appreciate how quiet it is, the ride is great, and gas mileage runs ~35 mpg on the highway. Absolutely nothing has gone wrong (knock on wood). If it had a tighter turning radius and there was a way to auto-suppress the parking collision alarm when a bike rack is mounted, it'd be perfect. Those are annoying, but given how well everything else works I can live with them.

Great Ride for a Great Price

The overall aspect of the vehicle is that it is well equipped for the price. I love everything about the Tucson except its safety feature for rear collision. When a vehicle is following too closely, the Tucson deploys the ABS system and the vehicle brakes. The vehicle following too closely then almost hits the car it is following too closely. Fix that rear end safety function and the vehicle is perfect!

Love the vehicle but not the problems

comfortable, easy to drive, but....the recall and warranty work was timely. I waited 1 month for a wiring harness and was promised a loaner as soon as one came in. After 1 month, the harness came in and I got a loaner. Meanwhile, I drove in an unsafe vehicle without a screen. Fortunately, waze has a speedometer. Prior to the recall work, the vehicle is amazing. My friend loves it so much, that she wants to drive when we go anywhere.

Love my car.

Drives really well, especially comfortable for a 5' female. I love the alerts when switching lanes or backing up, although in hindsight, I probably would have preferred the cameras all around so I can see what's near me, not just the alert. Very spacious for seating and loading. Bluetooth can be a little sensitive and sometimes hard to connect. It is a great looking car too. Overall, very happy, and I've now had the car for 20 months.

Front door design

Only problem is the front door lower edge is a sharp point and can cut lower leg when entering or exiting. Door edge should have been rounded.

Third Tuscon

This my third Tuscon. I am generally very happy with it. Switching to a Hybrid was a good decision as the gas mileage is much better. I have to say though I am not pleased with the arrangement of the console and some of the interior controls. The infotainment center is not laid out very logically. The screen is constantly smudged. Along with the center, the manual is difficult to use as it constantly refers you back & forth to different sections for the simplest of instructions. The space taken by the phone charger is wasted. I would rather have a larger storage cubby. I do not appreciate being monitored by the camera on the column. Nor do I like being hounded by messages telling me to take a coffee break, etc. All the beeping and lights flashing draw my attentioin away from the road. I'm glad you recalled to fix that feature where the car slows you down. That was quite dangerous and alsways a surprise. The absolute worst is the placement of the mode switch on the front of the console. I am constantly switching as I reach toward the temp control panel. Its always quite a sensation when I slip into "sport" mode. A mode which I don't need at all, incidentally, as I knew I was nto getting a sports car when I bought it. Why not be able to lock into eco mode if that is what I use 99% of the time? Anyway, I like my third new Tuscon overall but I wish ther interior was not so over-engineered. Thanks for asking.
